Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club - Ghost Creek Course
Played On 04/29/2021First time playing Ghost
Excellent facility with staff very friendly and accommodating. Driving range is one of the best I have ever used despite the mats for irons. Putting green was excellent with a variety of putts available. The chipping green was a bit small but in excellent shape. Golf course condition was exceptional and the greens were perfect. I will definitely return next time I come up.

A great Muni course that despite not being really long, that still requires some thinking and execution to play it well. Course conditions are usually pretty consistent and the views from certain holes are pretty darn nice and the new sand in bunkers really helps with sand play. After a round of golf here, it's nice to be greeted and served by the nice folks at Mulligans which also has some great views and pretty good food and plenty of libations.

I will continue to rave about the golf, the beauty and the customer service at this idyllic place. The breathtaking views from so many golf holes and the exceptional condition of play makes this one of my favorite golf courses in the tri-counties. Roland was so accommodating and everyone else was so friendly and actually smiling. You should really take a long weekend and spend some time here in Ojai, play some golf, partake in some delicious locally grown gourmet food and take in the wonder of this paradise nestled at the foot of the Topatopa Mountains. Personally, I am planning on making this a monthly trek.

Don't let this short course fool you. The greens can be tricky and pay attention to pin locations to give yourself a good putt for them pesky birdies. Be sure to take in the beautiful mountain views and take some time to enjoy a bite to eat on the patio at Mulligans, which has some delicious grub, thirst quenching libations and great views of the golf course.
Marshallia Ranch Golf Course
Played On 07/27/2016Drought taking its toll on a great course
I and many others really enjoy this course. If not for the drought this would still be a gem of a course to play. Since its fairways have not been watered since March, the fairways are dead. The greens are still excellent but the dead fairways makes getting to the greens not very fun. I will probably not return until the drought is over as there are other closer courses with real fairways.
