You need to play Tierra Verde

Overall the course is in great condition. Spring flooding has been overcome and the course is looking great. There was one sand trap on #2 with water in it, but overall it was JB great shape. Greens rolled true and could be faster, but very playable for all skill levels. Terrain and layout gives you many looks you don't see often on public courses. Tee positions are available for all skill levels and ages. There is no GPS on cart which many courses in this price range offer, so having a range finder helps even with many yardage markers and 6 pin placements marked. Staff and grill crew are very friendly, food and drinks are all reasonably priced compared to other courses in this range.

Don't miss out on a great course and add this to your rotation of play. We routinely play here and get around in 4 hours early mornings. And 4.5 hours as the morning brings some slower players.

Great course

Overall course is a great play and enjoyable. Pace of play can be an issue later in the day and sone golfers vary in skill level like many courses. Also this is a course that sells memberships and they can take advantage of tee times or not having tee times and wanting to squeeze in which can create conflict. It's not a country club setting and members should follow the same rules as non-members. Staff is very nice and friendly. Only complaint from this play was that many of the fairways were over watered and that created many areas under water and didn't create good play conditions. Having played here many times this is not common. The course is overcoming the spring flooding and is returning to the 4* course it normally is. The greens were very inconsistent from front 9 to back 9 which was frustrating.

Weekend Scramble

We played in a Sunday scramble and the course was in good condition. We have had some heavy rain in the recent past and much of the area still shows signs from the flooding and dead grass. The fairways were in good condition and greens in about the same. I have seen the course in better shape. Overall it was a 4 on 5 scale. Course has a ways to go to get back to its $100 round level. I could have very easliy rated this a 3 but due to rain I gave it a break.

Burcorp

Course was in great shape and this was after several days of heavy rain and it held up well. The greens rolled true and the course offers many challenges. It's not the longest course even from the back tees, but still offers a great run with 27 holes to select from. My issue with most courses and it was an issue here also, ball marks not being repaired in the green. And especially after the rain. Overall great course and will play here again when we return.
