The course is always nice, bunkers are what they are during pandemic so no fault of the course there. Overall a round worth the money a couple times a year!
Mercer Oaks Golf Course - West Course

Course was in good shape for the time of year. Had some slow 2-some's in front of us that we're playing at leisure but let us play through. 3.5 hour round!

I read the reviews after booking a tee time at a discounted rate and was tempted to cancel it. The course was actually a lot of fun and the layout has several challenging landing areas. The par 3's were fun to play and the course really was not as bad as people made it out to be. I played 18 in about 3.5 hours on a Sunday at 1130, so for me it is ideal. The burnt up areas are all from tee to fairway but do not affect your shots if you play from the fairway. I can see how people would not be thrilled if they spray the ball all over. I would definitely play again for the money and the course lay out. I hope the invest some time and care into the course and if they do it would be a gem. Don't believe the critics and form your own opinion.

A fun course to play, played 18 in 4 hours! This course will go into my short list of local places to play!

I chose the course looking for something in my area as a secondary option. I approached the course from the Main Street and saw the length of the fairway grass and immediately knew it was a mistake and thought to leave. I figured why not play anyway for the price and see if it was delusion, unfortunately not. There is no part of this course that is cared for, not even the customers. The fairways are long and unkept as was the rest of the course. Playing a 5.5 hour round as there was a wait on every hole, I should have left and went to Makefield. Bottom line is you never know what you are going to get so if this helps the next guy, please think again! 12.5 handicap and a weekend golfer!
Thank you for playing Heron Glen and we hope to see you again soon.
