Cardinal at Diamondhead Country Club
Played On 12/11/2020Great Play
First time traveling to Diamondhead Country Club. I played the Pines which was in great shape for it being December 11th! The greens were lighting but made it interesting for sure. There was a 4 some in front of us but no one in front of them. Took us 4:30 to play only problem.
Lost Key Golf Club
Played On 11/04/2020Tee to Green
This course was hit by a hurricane and a tropical storm both within 3 weeks. These were the nicest greens I have played on in a while. I am super impressed with the condition. The staff was also very helpful and friendly with any questions.
The Oaks Golf Club
Played On 12/02/2019Great Course
Upon arriving it’s a gorgeous view coupled with a nice cozy clubhouse. The staff was very friendly and helped with anything they asked. For being December 2 I expected the course to be in less than ideal conditions.I was wrong. The tee boxes and greens were absolutely phenomenal. We got there and use the range and putting green and still enough time to get off before the event. The pace of play was outstanding. I would recommend this course to my friends who are relatively experienced because it is tight and challenging. I loved every hole they had to offer.
The Grand Bear Golf Course
Played On 05/17/2019Amazing
This is the first time I’ve played this course. I expected a jack Nicholas course to be challenging with a great layout. It lived up to the expectations plus a little bit. They advise the greens I just been aerated five days prior to me playing and I couldn’t tell a bit. The greens were very receptive smooth and rolled very well. The view coming up number 18 is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend playing it from the white tees your first time if you are not an experience golfer. I played the gold their equivalent of the blue and I’m relatively long off the tea. It leaves you with a lot of cool interesting shots. I would recommend this to anybody who asked
Tanglewood Golf and Country Club
Played On 05/10/2019Needs Some Help
It was my first time playing this course. I got a hot deal for cheap so I decided to give it a chance. Upon arrival it looked relatively nice and the clubhouse is decent. The course layout is cool. It’s an open friendly course for average players. It’s hard to lose a golf ball at this place which makes it worth playing if you’re looking to score well. However, The fairways are an absolutely awful condition. There is sand and dirt everywhere almost as much is grass. I won’t be playing there anytime soon until they get some new fairways.
Dogwood Hills Golf Club
Played On 06/10/2017Sand Pit
I have played some awful courses in my life time but this course takes the cake. The fairways have no grass it's all sandy and weeds. The greens are harder than concrete and again have sand and weeds everywhere. It was like playing putt putt trying to maneuver through the junk. The range was even worse. Balls were cut up, it was all sand where we had to hit from and it was only 250 yards. I wouldn't recommend this course for my cat to use as a litter box let alone a friend to play!
Glenlakes Golf Club - Vista/Dunes Course
Played On 03/26/2017Great Play
Amazing course layout. Very tough but fair for all skill types. Holds a lot of water if it rains but still played wonderfully. I would gladly make the 45 min trek from Pensacola anytime! No beverage cart on a busy Sunday was tough but we survived!
We are so happy you enjoyed your round, keegmo16! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Lost Key Golf Club.
