White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 04/07/2023Great track and facilities
I’ve played here 4 times now and really like this course. Tee times include all the range balls you can hit, a great practice green, and a short game area with bunkers. The greens here are rolled and well maintained, so they are fast and smooth. Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape. Overall one of the best values in the area.
Inniscrone Golf Club
Played On 05/01/2022Good pace for a late Sunday morning and a great staff
This is the 2nd time I’ve played here. I was put into a foursome with another single and a twosome. The staff is great here. They are a pleasure to deal with. They have a range and you’re hitting off grass, not mats. Sunday morning at 10:06 and we got the round in just under 4 1/2 hours. There are some tough holes out there and a few easy ones. All in all it’s got just about everything you’d want in a public course. A couple of the greens and tee boxes need some work, but that could be because it’s only May 1st. I’d love to see how it looks in a month. Nice track though. This course is now in my rotation.
Cream Ridge Golf Club
Played On 08/17/2015Course is in pretty good shape
Of the 3 public courses in the area, Cream Ridge was always our 2nd pick. The "H" course always had better greens and was in better shape. The "G" course has too many outings and gets beat up. This was my first round at Cream Ridge this year and the course was in pretty good shape. The greens were playing fast, and the fairways weren't as bare as they used to be. Staff as usual is friendly. There is some crabgrass in areas, but overall, we might add this course back to our rotation.
Indian Spring Golf Club
Played On 07/27/2014Course steadily improving
I play with a foursome and we play here every month or so. It's one of the nicer public tracks in the area. There's a range around the corner and the putting green is consistent with the regular greens. This course was vandalized a couple of years ago and it was a shame. They put some money into improvements over the last winter and spring and it looks good. Staff is great, food is great, fairways and greens are in good shape, what else can you ask for?
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
Played On 04/13/2014Tough course in the wind
This course is very close to the ocean and is usually pretty windy. It's a fairly long nice layout. It's a long walk, so if you are planning to walk, be prepared. The course was in pretty good shape considering the winter we just had. The greens were still showing signs of being worked on, so they don't roll too true, but I'm sure they'll be fine in a month or so. I'd definitely play here again.
Ron Jaworski's RiverWinds Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 04/11/2014Nice fairways and greens, great views of the Delaware River and Philly
I played here once last year and was impressed. I had to play here again. Considering the GolfNow rate, it's the best value for the buck in South Jersey. The fairways and greens are in great shape, even after one of the worst winters on record. The traps need some work, but overall they weren't that bad. One of my new favorite courses that plays 6,800+ yards from the blues.
Rancocas Golf Club
Played On 03/11/2014Getting ready for the season
The course was a bit beat up, but this is probably the first week it hasn't seen snow since January and the first week it's been open. I like this course. Both 9's are very different and challenging. I know it will be in better shape in the Spring, and you can tell they are putting money into the course. There have been some needed cart path repairs done recently and they have removed and pruned some trees. It's cart path only for now, but you have to appreciate them keeping you off the grass this time of year to let it fill in for the season.
Monarch Beach Golf Links
Played On 3/12/2013Great layout. Nice greens. Well worth GolfNow price!
I was on vacation from NJ and found this course on GolfNow for $79. The course and greens are well maintained. The Marshall was out making sure nobody was holding others up. It was a good round just over 4 hours. The greens are nice and quick, but can be read and adjusted to. You'll get your 3 putts, but you're not going to putt anything off the green. Real nice course and I'd play there again my next time out.
