Very difficult to give a poor review to people who obviously know how to treat their customers at a high level. Kitchen, Shop, Marshal were extremely top knotch and I play around the world. Now the rains have hurt this course, destroying the fairways and rough. The greens were perfect which usually means I don’t care about anything else; however, these conditions make it difficult to return.
If my friends asked me to play here again, I would wait till a dry summer day

Played this course at least 200 times since 1999.
This is peak season with guests intown from across the country. I was embarrassed by the overall condition. It was extremely dry and many greens had little to no grass. The pins were actually placed in areas that had the least grass? My favorite hole is #10 (signature hole) and it was in excellent shape tee-to-green!
I paid $50 (2:40p) on Golfnow. Locals seem to pay way more after the pandemic surge.
Something to consider, $50 (Legacy) vs $77 (Angel Park)……
Los Prados Golf Course

This was my first time since 2005 playing Los Prados. The course was a hard and fast which added to the challenge. The course is extremely short (yardage) coupled with hard conditions. To score, you must hit full wedges to stop the ball anywhere near the hole. They did not price this course out of the market and I would return once aeration is complete

I have played this course since 1999. I can’t believe every fairway is dead, greens are rock hard and tee boxes have been ripped up? At this time of year, the course was always pristine and overseeded. I will research why the management decided to for-go the cost (COVID?)
u000003257955, thank you for the feedback. We were one of several operators who had to make the tough decision not to overseed in 2020 due to the financial impact of covid-19. Our governor closed all the courses in Nevada for 3 weeks in April 2020. The fairways are not dead, they are currently dormant and will wake up in the spring. As for the tee boxes, due to the rising cost of water we have elected to remove turf in no playable areas and reduce our water footprint. Last year we used 258 millions gallons of water.

The boys decided that sunrise in Henderson was underrated. Teed it up at 715am and finished in less than four hours. Course perfect, weather perfect, and speed of play perfect. Locals for $49! I’m not sure why they serve whiskey at 920am? Excellent experience

Former home course revisited. Amazing layout and winter conditions. The greens were a touch slow until I figured out the pin setter was probably mad or intoxicated?? Pins were on slopes and corners which posed. “Wee bit” of a challenge! The staff throughout the course was extremely helpful and kind. I ate breakfast, lunch and adult beverages without disappointment. I give this course a 10 out of 10 for cost, service and design. Must play in the valley for sure. I am a resident of 20-years
Boulder Creek Golf Club - Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley

Boulder Creek GC does not disappoint. The course has firm fairways that give you confidence and shorter irons into greens. The greens are fast and smooth which allows a good putting stroke to fill it up! I played Eldorado/Coyote Run at 751a (Saturday) and we finished under four hours. My group moved around for high handicappers.

The course was in excellent shape! Played here for 20 years and can honestly say from tee to green it’s never been better. The pin positions on this day were obviously set for a “scramble” because there was no chance stopping long irons to tight pins. GolfNow last minute morning golf worked out perfectly for our twosome and played with a 13 yr old that could bomb it. Great experience all around
We're glad to hear our hard work isn't going unnoticed, thanks for the 5-star review! We'll keep an eye out for 13-year-old hustlers, and we hope you'll come see us again soon.

The overseed seemed to be perfect. The grass was full throughout the course and looked like an oasis. The greens were obviously slow which is to be expected after an overseed. The nines were flipped with a blind opening tee shot over a hill. The change was welcome but a little dangerous without an engaged starter.
Play the course for sure!
Ps.....my biggest surprise was playing under 4-hours (teed off at noon on Saturday)
Thanks for your comment! We're happy to hear you had a nice time and enjoyed our course! Hope to see you again soon!
Thank you for visiting us at Los Prados Golf Course. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
