Fairwinds Golf Course
Played On 07/29/2021Fair winds fun
If your going to play fair winds bring a water bottle. Gets a little warm and water is in two areas. Keep an eye on weather as this is a near a protected area so drainage is a little tricky. We had large amounts for standing water. The staff and crew were doing their best at what Mother Nature did. I loved the layout a the course was still fun. I will be visiting again.
The Saints At Port St Lucie
Played On 05/02/2020Good to see them open
Greens were recently air raided so a bit a trouble but that’s okay. The time off allowed course to heal. All tee boxes looked great and fairways looked heathy. The starter was good at keeping groups from forming up to large. On first tee box we were only allowed to tee off on time at 12 min intervals. Still don’t understand why other than he said to keep group separated but okay. Greens as stated before were air raided and all holes had pool noodles. Great to see. But they were very inconsistent in size per hole. The best size for all is 2ins. Hole 6 noodle was almost even with cup. I may have holed out but none of us could be sure do to is I hit flag stick and lipped out or bounced off noodle.
There were no amenities at all. Driving range, chipping area; closed and putting green pins removed with no holes. Other courses have theirs open as I play around this area a lot. Please bring it back. At least chipping area and putting and dont move holes on putting green for days, just a suggestion.
Staff was great and helping everyone stay safe and not group. BIG BROTHER is watching and they did call staff from home when they noticed a grouping. They told us. STOP STRESSING OUT STAFF! They are learning and trying too. If your going to watch staff then be a leader and be with them too. I’m retired Marine and know leadership when I see it. Again, I am glad they are open and learning like the rest of us. My rating is low due to current events. Most of the time I would say 4 stars across board.
