The River Club
Played On 03/17/2024Not bad course but slow
The first impression was nice course but the starter was not the nicest person. You’re not allowed to use your cart until a minute before your tee time. Not even to go to the practice range which is not close by. The group in front of us played from the blue tees and would drop another ball if they had a bad shot. And they had plenty. Then a group of locals behind us playing from the forward tees hit up on us 4 times. No ranger to speed up or slow down the play. The course was just in decent shape and had a few tricky holes but overall playable. It took over 5 hours to play a round.

Really liked the layout for an executive course
The fairways were near perfect and the greens were really nice
Challenging enough to play from the tips and forgiving enough if you have to play further up
I would like to play it again

River Run Golf Links

River Run was a good average course. Play was steady and the greens were fast. Fairways are typical for Florida public courses. Enjoyed the day there.
