The course has a fun layout with excellent views and a great staff... That said, at times it felt like mini golf style punishment. On several holes good drives were turned into garbage when the balls rolled back 40-50yds due to large bare spots in the hilly fairways. I also played a safe 3 iron off the tee on 11 only to have the ball roll an additional 75 yards through the fairway onto the steep downhill rough. Maybe the conditions will be better in the spring. Also, the pace of play neared 6hrs for 18 which is brutal even by socal standards.
