Two different courses

The front 9 & back 9 are completely different. There are areas on the front 9 where maintenance needs to do some clean-up. Ascetically, the back 9 looks like you’re on a different course. It’s absolutely beautiful, with all the water, flowering hedges & the many gorgeous homes that line this back 9. The fairways looked great & the layout was more appealing. A huge thank-you to course staff who were able to reunite me with belongings I’d left behind the previous day. Very much appreciated. All staff at the course who we interacted with were very friendly & accommodating.

Great value & Amazing history

This course is one of the first and crooners like Frank & Dean played these fairways. The clubhouse & locker room are full of b&w photos which is such a treat for someone that loves their music. The course is long, tight (at times) and is a nice chalenge from all tee boxes. There are two par 3s that need some work in front where there use to be water however, all the rest of the holes are interesting and fun to play. One thing they could definitely improve on is the cement cartpaths that are in rough shape. Overall, with our savings from GolfNow it's a very good deal. We'll be back.

Beautiful golf course!

We had a very enjoyable round of golf however It was unfortunate that the twosome that was suppose to join us did not show up. We ended up waiting quite a bit for the group in front, but that was to be expected. Still enjoyed the beauty and quality of the Indian Canyon - South golf course. We will be back soon from our cold climate in Alberta.

Terrible, Not Ready To Open!

We played the Indian and Royal 9s'. The 2nd hole on Indian had a GIANT ditch on the right side of the green which was suppose to be a sand bunker??? The water holes were full of algae and the fountains were not turned on. The course was in horrible condition. The 2nd nine, Royal was opened after reseeding and was in better shape but they forgot to put out yardage markers and the hazard stakes to let you know where they are. We checked on the hole signs and some of them indicated water or bunkers but some did not. Unfortunately, it made for a very frustrating and aggravating 9 holes. We were disappointed and will not return even in high season when everything SHOULD be back to normal. The pro did ask how we liked the course after finishing the Indian 9... we said we had played much better courses for the same price and he offered us ice cold water! Oh well... we live and learn.

Over-seeding is hard on a golfer!

We golfed the North - Indian Canyon course for a "Hot Deal". Thank goodness I called the course and cancelled my initial $69.00 direct booking. This course opened on November 1st and has a lot of nostalgia linked to it via celebrity players like Frank Sinatra and Walt Disney that were regulars. Unfortunately both would have been spitting upset that they did not clean up the piles of grass clippings in and around the fairways and greens. The course still indicated water on holes where it had been replaced by sand. Not a big deal, but another update that needs to considered. The staff was very nice and assisted us with "some" course information before starting. Overall, not the worst but too soon to book after the grass over-seeding. Should have been discounted another $10.00 until it is more mature.

Nice lay-out but TOO MUCH traffic

We waited 15 minutes while the three groups in front of us played the hole. Obviously the course was over booked. The tee boxes were almost bald because of hackers tearing them up. The course has a very nice lay-out and some of the par 3's are BEAUTIFUL playing over water and one has a large rock waterfall.
I liked it very much since I birdied it! We actually got around in under 5 hours and for the money it was a good deal. Sometimes this course offers breakfast, lunch and drink deals with each round which is a nice touch.
