I paid for 18 holes and ended up playing 12 holes. It took me close to 3.5 hours to play 2/3 of the holes and was painful to have to wait so long between every shot.

Course was in fine shape but price seems a bit high ($5-$10 higher) compared to other courses in the area of similar quality.

I live in the Asheville area and truly believe this is the best course under $60/round within an hour of Asheville. Fun layout will test most clubs in the bag, almost always a fast pace of play, smooth greens, and beautiful and unforgiving mountain golf. Cummings Cove is my go to course!

I love playing this course. Each hole has a unique challenge and forces one to use most clubs in the bag. Greens in great condition for winter golf and pace of play is fairly quick. Overall, fun round with good course conditions considering I played in early January. Most of the tee shots require straight drives. Par 3’s are a challenge as they are long for the most part. Certainly like this course and anticipate returning.

Fun course, different types of challenges off the tee. Can’t bust out the driver on most holes and need accurate shots off the box to avoid legitimate rough. Only issue is course can get wet, and struggles to drain well, but that’s mostly a result of the topography. Overall, love playing here and will continue to come back!

First time playing, chose to go during the afternoon in June. Almost no one out in the course as the heat scared almost everyone away. Greens recovering in several areas due to harsh winter conditions. But, didn’t effect putting too much, especially if one is willing to move the ball to a friendlier location. Overall, fun cool course for money and so close to sunset beach.

Great municipal course. Front 9 is flat and open, back 9 is narrow with topography and more angled shots. Pace of play can be super slow on weekends due to proximity to downtown AVL and affordability.
