Nice course, interesting layout, very good greens with plenty of movement. Weather was a bit wet for us but solid course overall and with many holes alongside the water, the course was very picturesque in many areas. Rental clubs were pricey for being a bit long.in the tooth but overall an excellent day and value.

Course layout is one of my favorites but conditions not what i remember. Tee boxes in particular are in rough shape and greens recently sanded. Not what I expected. Hoping it is a seasonal thing

This course is rated one of top 10 public courses in MI. The rating is certainly justified. In very good shape and seemingly carved out of the wilderness, it was an interesting and challenging track. While it is nestled in a community, it does not detract from the "up north" feel of the track. From nice carts to friendly people to fast greens, the place exceeded my expectations. It is kind of remote but they have great restaurants in Fenton to top the day off. Will definitely go back.

Picturesque setting, well-maintained. Enjoyable round

Course was in great shape except for the tees. The tee boxes were awful. Rest of club in good condition and a pleasure to play. They force you to buy lunch as part of package and food was definitely sub-par. Hot dog was anything but. Deli sandwich all bread. So, enjoyed the round, hope they address the tees immediately and step up food service or remove that from a requirement to book a tee time,.

We were behind a group of 40 and I expressed concern to the course at the start of the round. They promised there was a great ranger that would help enforce pace of play. Well, 6 hours later, it was clear they failed. At the turn, I talked about it again with the pro shop and they expressed little concern, just stating that "well, there are a lot of golfers out there today." This was a shame b/c the course is great. Was extremely disappointed by the staffs lack of action to try to remediate this issue.
