The Georgia Trail At Sugarloaf
Played On 03/01/2016Good for the money!!
$10 for 9 + cart is a great value. Course is a bit rough as the Fairways have not come in yet and the greens had little grass so they were difficult to judge speed. If you want to get some practice off the tee, some Fairway work(after finding a spot to roll the ball to) and realizing what you're getting for 10 bucks, give it a go. Have been here several times and never had any issues with crowds. Fair amout of water so be sure you have enough bullets in the bag.
Ventura Country Club
Played On 9/5/2013Nice Course to play.
Played from the White Tees @ 5100yds. Rough was too high but they were cutting it as we played. Great Course to play on as there were several holes that made you decide where to hit the Ball.
Peachtree Golf Center
Played On 8/27/2013Keep away as the Course is in terrible condition.
The Bermuda grass from Tee to Green, and even 3yds off the Green, is so thick that if you do not hit the Green on your Tee shot, there is a 50/50 chance you'll NOT find your ball. Just ridiculous!! I lost 5 balls and found 4 others. Since this Course is next to the Hooch, expect lots of unrepaired ball marks on the Green. Don't waste your time or money.
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club
Played On 4/25/2013Course in Good shape and Greens were very playable
Great Course with several wide open holes. NO Water Jugs or Ball Washers on the Course was a little strange.
Crystal Falls Golf Club
Played On 4/18/2013Great Course and will come back.
Greens in great condition. Course is pretty wide open and rough was not that bad. Several holes had Augusta like rough, Pine trees and Pine needles. Better to be short than long on most holes as many of the Greens have drop offs if you're long. First time Player here so had to guess on correct Club on some blind Tee & 2nd shots as could not see the best landing area. Tee shot placement on many Holes is very important due to the rolling nature of the course.. Yardage markers on all holes either on the Cart Path or in the Fairway. Go Play!!
St. Marlo Country Club
Played On 3/28/2013Good Course when in shape. Fairly wide open so offline hits are not to bad.
Greens have just been sanded so Putting was not very good. We Played that if 1st one didn't go in just pickup and take a 2 Putt. Hole #9 is terrible and alway has been. Should have reworked the location of the Green years ago. Belongs on a Putt-Putt Course.
The Hooch Golf Club
Played On 2/6/2013Great course to keep short game tuned up.
Course in good shape but Greens have a lot of unrepaired ball marks. I play this Course a lot and this is a recurring problem due to the number of "slobs" that play the Course. They need to do a better job of policing the Course and making sure everyone has a ball repair tool in their pocket!!
Lanier Golf Club
Played On 12/19/2012NO GREENS
The Course should be closed! The Greens are hard packed Dirt and Sand and colored Green. They are un-puttable. Rest of the Course is in good condition so when you hit the Green, try a putt then pick-up, take a 2-putt and move on to the next hole.
Country Land Golf Course
Played On 9/26/2012Nice little Course to play.
First time played the Course. Just a nice little Country Course but had some really good holes. Don't expect a top ten Course but if you just want to get out and play a Round at decent cost, this is the place. I shall return.
