Pace of play was fine. Played in about 4 hrs. Fairways are sparse, but I don’t mind tight lies. If you end up in a bare spot, roll it to the grass. It’s not the US Open. The greens were in very good shape. Speed was medium to quick.
Yes I’ll be back several more times before March.

I’ve played this course three times in the past two months.
Yes the carts paths are terrible, yes there are a few bare spots in the fairway, but the greens are in great shape and there is grass on most of the tee boxes. I just really like the layout of this course. It’s a good price if you can land a Hot Deal.

Fun course. Not long. Requires accurate tee shot on several holes. Greens are a little rough but playable. Several greens had bare spots. Fairways were recently overseeded, so they were a little shaggy. I would play it again for the price we paid. ( ~$35/pp for 18 holes w/cart)

Second time playing this course this season. Hats off to the staff. Your dedication to improving the course conditions are showing. Greens are much better than last time I played and you can see the care being taken to make this course one of the better places in the area. Hope to play again soon.

Easy checking, off number one on time. Course condition is getting better. Tees and fairways were ok. Greens were sanded and lacking grass in some places. Speed was ok. It’s not in the best shape but playable and will only get better. At least you can see an effort to improve.

The overall layout of this course is great. The condition of this course is terrible. No excuse for the weeds and crabgrass that have taken over this course. It’s very apparent very little money is being invested in the condition of this course. It’s really a shame because it could be a fantastic track.

I’ve played this course twice in less than a week. Each round was well over 5 hrs. Waited on every shot for two rounds. 8 minutes between tee times doesn’t work for average golfers. These people spend a minimum of 15 - 20 minutes on each hole.
I love this course layout and the green speed. That’s the only reason I return.

I love the layouts. Played Dunes to Vista. The course is in dormant time. The greens are mostly dormant Bermuda. They are quick and roll fairly true. Firm plenty of grass on putting surface. Fairways were fair, some tight lies. Lots of sand in bunkers, too much in fairway bunkers and rarely raked by players. Best bang for the buck in the Gulf Shores area in March. Will play again soon.

Like this layout. Rough and fairways were dormant which is expected at this time of year. Greens were over seeded. As said before cart paths are terrible. Greens speed and conditions were great. Sand was heavy and deep. Pace of play was slooow. 4:20 for 18. Waited every shot. Will play again.

The best part of the course was the greens. Firm and quick. They are very small and difficult to hit, but if you do, you have a putt at birdie.
Fairways were terrible. Need a lot of love.
Tee boxes are rough but playable.
Bunkers are OK. I played from two green side and one fairway bunker.
Sad thing is, giving this layout, this course could be so much more.
Why don’t more courses in Florida use Zoysia grass for tees and fairways.

I really enjoy this course. Good test of golf. Not to gimmicky.

We were a twosome so pace of play felt worse than it was. Took about 4hrs. to play.
Course is in good shape. Fairways were a little shaggy and could use a mow. Greens were good, lots of grass, medium speed for public course. Players should make a better effort to fix ball marks. Same song different course.

We booked a promotional deal on Golf Now and man what a deal.
Course was in good shape. Only complaint is something out of the control of the course, BALL MARKS on the green! Why can’t golfers fix ball marks! We fixed 2-3 in addition to our own on every green. Really sad that people have no respect for the course and others playing.
