Course not in good shape. Fairways very sparse and barren in spots. Rough unforgiving. Greens barren, uneven patches of grass, unfairly fast, short chips roll off the greens. Our cart made grinding noises, we weren't sure if it was going to make it the whole round. Not an enjoyable round.

Course played difficult. Fairways in good shape, some wet areas. Tee boxes need work, many greens had barren areas. Several holes have limited landing areas if you miss the green. Rough was punitive. Restaurant good, staff friendly, good lunch + range balls deal.

Course is in good shape, a few barren spots, greens were good speed. I have played here many times over the years and love the layout - challenging but fair. Staff is very friendly.

Course is ln great shape especially considering some recent heavy rains Good lies all over. Greens rolled well. Staff very friendly. I had some friends visiting from out of town and they loved it.

Great layout. Recent renovations are obvious improvements. Fairways and tee boxes good shape. Most greens very good, some with bad spots. Looks like maintenance was happening which is a good sign. Rough was difficult. Definitely worth the 1 hour drive and I will be back!

Course she is in good shape, well 2 of the 3 nines were, River nine was a bit neglected. Interesting layout but not many doglegs, mostly straight holes, some with some water or obstacle but overall a nice day of golf. I would play here again.

Great conditions, classic links layout, a little unimaginative, several times I got to a tee box and felt like I had already played the hole. Would like to see some more dog legs but overall a good course. I would play it again.

I have been playing here on and off for many years through varying degrees of conditions. I must say this is the best shape I have ever seen it. Fairways and greens are mostly in good shape. Tee boxes need work, especially the par threes. There are still some spots that need attention but you can see they are working to improve them. Course is definitely playable. If you have been staying away because of bad conditions, it’s time to come back and be pleasantly surprised.

Great layout but conditions are not the best. Very dry, as are most courses this time of year, but the rainy season will help the course green up but the areas around the green will still be difficult with weeds. Areas washed out to dirt need maintenance. I hope it gets back to better conditions again.

Have not played here in a while due to unfavorable course conditions but recent reviews reported improving conditions. Course IS much improved, greens and tee boxes good shape, fairways mostly green. Still some bare spots (mostly the shaded areas) and the rough is dry but most courses are this time of year. I believe with continued improvements and some rain it will be in great shape. Definitely playable now!

Course played ok, tee boxes need work, fairways have weedy patches, rough is a little high, temporary green on #7, greens are good. I wish the snack bar/cafe was open, would be nice to have a place to get a drink and settle up the bets. Overall I would recommend playing here.

Course is in great shape. fairways are lush and always provide a good lie. Rough is manageable, greens are rolling nicely. Unfortunately pace was slow due to a foursome in front of us. All the singles and dous paired up to foursomes but we still waiting on almost every shot. But slow groups are always a hit or miss situation

Interesting layout, great conditions, fairways are lush, interesting blend of soysia and tif eagle, always good lie. Greens were terrific. I just wish they had senior tees - something between white (6000+) and red (5000) yds, maybe golds around 5500. A bit of a ride for me but worth the trip. I will be back when it’s less that 100 degrees!

Much improved from my last visit here. Waste bunkers have been raked and the greens are excellent! Overall very good conditions.

Seems like the fairways and greens have new grass. Some tee boxes need work. Bunkers in good shape but I wish people would rake or at least drag your feet coming out instead of leaving footprints. We had a threesome, the starter put a single with us to make four, the put two twosomes out behind us. Either put the single with a twosome or pair up the two twosomes to make four. Pace of play got awkward. Restaurant staff friendly as always. Not a bad choice!

Course is in good condition, greens rolling a little fast, fairways giving good lies, some tee boxes a little sparse, sand traps would be great if golfers were a little more considerate. I realize there aren’t any rakes but people can make an effort to smooth out the sand with your feet, especially after you have just dug in for a shot. Staff was helpful and friendly, operation ran smooth - check-in, bag drop, starter, cart girl - good job.

After reading the most current reviews I was somewhat reluctant to play here but I’m glad we did. The course is recovering from a major over seeding and the results are obvious. New grass is evident all over the course and growing in nicely. Yes, there are still some rough spots but nothing you can’t maneuver around. After another cut or two this course will be in very good condition. The layout is challenging and interesting with many risk/reward holes. It’s good to see the major improvements going on and I choose to appreciate that effort rather than complain about a few bad lies or the speed of the greens. Definitely a good choice!

This course has made a significant recovery from very poor conditions a while back. Fairways, tee boxes and bunkers are very good greens have some barren patches but roll well. Staff and service are excellent. Playing two in a cart but ONLY A $5 UPCHARGE FOR SINGLE RIDER. This is significantly less than other courses asking $10 to $20 upcharge. A challenging layout for golfers of all handicaps.

This is a great layout, plays tough, conditions didn’t help. Not unplayable but sparse grass and difficult rough. Very displeased with the greens, very hard and dry and therefore quite fast and inconsistent. Pro shop insisted we play two in a cart due to phase 3 but somehow my buddy and I were the only cart with two players. If you insist on mask wearing in the pro shop and restaurant, you’re not putting out ball washers and water fountains then you should still be one in a cart. Plus there were very few players there, plenty of carts available.
