Slow pace of play is the only negative issue out here. The golf course is always in good shape and the layout is creative and full of variety.

Horrendous course conditions. A real shame considering the layout is decent. The pro in the shop was very friendly and hospitable. I just don't see how a golf course like this can compete in the Destin/Ft Walton area. There are dozens of better options.

I guess it's a Florida thing, but the greens were way too slow, especially for a top notch resort like Sandestin. The layout was very interesting and kept the round fun. But in order to shoot some better scores, the greens are gonna have to roll faster than a 6 on the stimpmeter.

Far Oaks goes above and beyond to make your experience memorable. The staff was friendly, the course was in great shape, and the pace of play was 4 hours. Altogether, a beautiful day on an interesting golf course.

This golf course is private club caliber from the staff to the challenging golf course. Too many people do not fill in their divots in the bent grass fairways, so they take a beating. But the maintenance crew does an outstanding job, especially considering the number of rounds played annually. The par 3s lack variety, but that would be my only minor complaint about Gateway National. One of the top 3 public courses in the metro STL area!

Annbriar is arguably the best public course in the STL area. The staff is always nice and professional. I have played this course probably 10 times in the past couple years....never a disappointment. My only complaint would be that the majority of the tee boxes are on uneven ground and they need to be mowed at a much lower level. But that's a small thing considering that this is a great golf course.

Really fun golf course with a variety of different holes. The elevation changes create some interesting shots as well. My only complaint would be the lack of yardages available on sprinkler heads scattered around the course.

For a course that's over 100 years old, the layout is more creative than some modern public courses. The greens are very good with consistent speed. The fairways, rough, and bunkers are a little spotty...but for under $30, Normandie is a wonderful value.

This golf course and overall atmosphere has come a long way in the past couple years. The speed of the greens rivals almost any private club in the area. The clubhouse has been remodeled and looks great. Just a highly recommended place to play for anyone living in or visiting STL. Pace of play is the only negative issue, but they did have an event going on at the same time we were playing.

Appropriately priced and an all-around solid golf course. If you love to fade the ball as a righty, you will love the layout. Really nice, smooth greens that receive approach shots very well. Usually not overcrowded...one of the better public options in metro Orlando.

Outstanding golf course....every hole presents different challenges and the conditions are fantastic. Only two complaints would be the greens need to be a little faster (especially considering how healthy they are) and #18 is a goofy hole and an odd way to end a round. Other than those 2 minor issues, the staff is professional and friendly and the overall atmosphere is top notch in the area. Probably one of the better public courses in the state of Florida,

The par 3s are fantastic. Great mix of doglegs to the left and right. Greens roll really well, especially considering they were aerified less than 2 weeks ago. Friendly customer service around the entire complex.

Great greens...could be a little faster with the proper attention. Very entertaining layout. No easy holes...I literally used every club in my bag.

Fairways are a little thin, but still very playable. Greens need some work, but they're one good superintendent away from looking great. Interesting layout...#14 is a PGA caliber par 4. One of the better public courses in Volusia County.

The absolute best value for public golf in Volusia County!

Course is in terrible condition...needs to be overseeded or completely redone.

Greens recovering slowly from aerification, but layout is very entertaining and a good challenge. Bunkers look sharp, greens a little slow. Staff was A+!!
