LPGA International - Jones Course

Course was very playable, and in excellent shape! The only complaint I had is there wasn’t a beverage cart, and they didn’t have any water coolers out. On a 97° afternoon in Florida, you’d think one of the two would be a must

Played On 04/10/2021Nice Course, Aerated Greens Deserve Notice or Discount Though
Enjoyed the course itself. Had quite a few challenging holes, especially on some of the tee shots. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, and bunkers were in great shape, the greens had just been aerated though, and so putting was an absolute crapshoot. I feel like there should be notice posted online when booking before showing up to a $70 round and having to deal with that. Either that or offer a discount on the price. Made for a frustrating day. I think with the greens being in good shape, this would have easily been a full 5 star course.

The Club at Venetian Bay
Played On 07/13/2019Great course, conditions were not as good as previous times.
Third time here in the last year, once last summer, at Christmas, and today. First two times the course was in wonderful shape. This time though conditions were pretty tough. A lot of rain didn’t help, but the course pretty unplayable as the water doesn’t run off anywhere at all it seems. That can be excused, and is just bad timing. But they had two greens completely shut down with temporary greens in the fairways. Somewhat disappointing. Will definitely come back, the layout and staff are great. Just hope for better conditions next time.

The Hollows Golf Club - Lake/Cottage

Condition of the course just wasn’t very good at all. Lost 5 balls in the “rough” just out of the fairway because it was just overgrown weeds and clover, the ball would just disappear. Fairway grass wasn’t in great shape. Greens were slow and shaggy., couldn’t get a putt to the hole. Could play other courses in much better shape with more memorable layouts for the same price.
Wow, response from the course really misses the point Eli was trying to make. Well, that's "par for the course" upon their staff's performance.
Nags Head Golf Links
Played On 8/19/2013Course in great condition, challenging, not a course to expect to play well your first time.
The course is in wonderful shape, the greens were a little slow, but the rest of the grounds were wonderful. There are several blind shots that are frustrating, because once you see where you were going, they could be played much differently. The tightest fairway on the course you cannot see at all from the tee.
The course is short, which is nice, because if you miss the fairway by more than 5 yards you will lose your ball. The distances make it easy to play long irons off the tees.
Overall its a great course to play if you don't have high expectations for your score the first time out, and you buy the yardage book. If you spray the ball off the tee expect to lose A LOT of balls.
