The clubhouse area and approach road are tired and scruffy and first impressions of the staff were not good. Ladies locker room was unused and dirty.
Course was in ok condition with some holes on the process of renovation (4th) and some damage to putting surfaces.
Needs some TLC but good layout

Classic links layout and some beautiful views across Embleton bay. Excellent greens and a testing finishing hole.

Good resort coure
If you are looking for a professional golf experience with friendly staff and two excellent courses then call into Cotterell Park. Great value ans stunning views from the Button course.
Macintosh course more challenging no two holes the same. Well worth a visit.
