Yocha Dehe Golf Club at Cache Creek Casino Resort
Played On 7/26/2013Great Course
This is one of the nicest course I've played. The staff is great and very helpful. The fairways and greens are in amazing shape for the time of year and the sand is perfect.
The greens are quick but very true. If you have the right line and speed your going in the hole.
There's lots of well placed bunkers to challenge you or you can play it safe and go around them. Good amount of water also.
The only disadvantage to the course is there is very little to no shade, but there is bottled water provided on several holes with ice to fill up your ice chest. If your going play in the summer bring the sunscreen.
Another nice touch is the chilled wet towel at the end of your round to cool you down. I will be back. My new favorite course.
Coyote Run Golf Course
Played On 2/17/2013Very nice course and value
Course is in really good shape. Greens run a little slower than most courses. Front 9 easier than back 9, but challenging all the way around. The staff is great!
If you don't know someone in the military or have a pass plan to show up at least 30-40 mins prior to tee time to get cleared to get on the base and be escorted to the course. It is worth the effort and you will come back again.
Wailea Golf Club - Emerald Course
Played On 10/30/2012Great ocean views and wide open fairways
You can beat the view this course offers and there's no out of bounds anywhere. For the price I was expecting the course to be in better shape. Greens are large but weren't in great shape. Fairways were in great shape and there's no rough anywhere, very wide open. Staff wasn't as friendly as you'd expect for a high end golf course. We rented clubs for 60.00 (Nikes) and could of upgraded to Taylormade for 10.00 more. It was a nice experience to play here, but wouldn't do it again.
