Found a special price and was a little worried about what we would find. When you drive up don't let the exterior of the clubhouse scare you, the course is much better than that. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty much water on every hole but still fair. No hidden holes...what you see is what you get. Course in good condition.

We went there on the recommendation on Golf Advisor saying this was one of the top 25 most improved course for 2016. If that being true it must have been a cow pasture before. Very little grass on tee blocks. Many different grasses growing at different heights on the greens. Holes not moved in awhile, grass growing over side of the cups. The washrooms on the front has coded doors and no one tells you the code.
Ah, if only you would have seen the before pictures! (Side note: our superintendent still has pictures from the takeover!) We apologize for the code not being available. It is posted on our year around carts, unfortunately it is missing from our temp carts and our staff should have mentioned it. We will make sure to focus on including that during check-in. Oaks Course at Stonegate Golf Club

We try to get one round here whenever we are in the area. The conditioning is always good. The one draw back this year is to get the yardage on the GPS you have to pay for it.
