The coarse was lush and well taken care of. The greens were in great condition except a lot of players just won't fix there ball marks. I limited myself to fixing 10 per hole plus my own. The coarse has a lot of elevation changes. Some a little extreme. If you don't have a range finder you might have to play it two or three times to figure it out. Very beautiful though.
Old Kinderhook Golf Course
Played On 02/02/2020the course was in pretty good condition after melting snow a couple days earlier. A little soggy in some areas. I think getting a 70 degree day the first week of February helped make it an even better day. The course was well cared for. The sand traps were all in playable shape and the grounds were all clear of fallen leaves. If there is a chance it would be nice to mow the greens. The better weather is helping them to grow.Overall a very pleasant day on the links.

Played On 11/10/2019A very nice course with a lot of elevation changes. It was in very good shape for November. There was a lot of leaves though. I believe if your going to charge normal rates you should be mowing the fairways and ruff to mulch the leaves. Golf balls should not have to be searched for when they are in the playing area.
Lake Valley Country Club

It was an overcast misty day. We had the course to ourselves. The pace of play was perfect because of that. I have played here before and the pace was ok then. Everything was in good shape. Not bad for the first week of November.

Played On 09/24/2019After rain two days earlier the course was lush. Fairways were full and the ruff was juicy and a perfect height at 2 1/2 inches. the ball always settled into a birds nest. not once did the ball sit up on top of the grass. that is how the ruff should always play. the greens were very fast down hill and faster than you would think going uphill. overall it was an open course. rolling hills made club selection hard a couple times. it was a very nice day of golf.
Bear Creek Valley Golf Club
Played On 10/02/2018I love a course where you pretty much only see the hole you are on. That's the case for most of the holes at Bear Creek Valley. It is cut out of the forest and hills in the lake of the ozarks area. Very scenic. It has elevation changes on almost every hole. bring your thinking cap with you when you play here.
Osage National Golf Club - The Mountain/Links Course
Played On 01/25/2018For the middle of winter the course was in great condition. I can only imagine how it would be in the summer. Every hole was different. The views were great also.
