We have played Palmilla before Arroyo and Ocean. This was the first time we saw the Mountain 9. Palmilla (all 27) is one of the very best tracks in San Jose del Cabo. We highly recommend it.

Being a non-local I have nothing to say about what it was and where it is now. We had played St. John's G&CC the day before so the difference on the greens was most striking. Even the staff at Sawgrass says the greens at St. Johns are super slick. The greens at Cimarrone are much slower. But it fits the relaxed attitude at Cimarrone. Don't get me wrong, it is a good track with enough challenges for even the best golfers. There is water on virtually every hole and it comes into play on several of them. The staff in the proshop and the clubhouse and the members are just good people, warm and welcoming. We would definitely go back to play
