Arrive early, the 1st tee is a long distance from the clubhouse. Definitely not walkable. Bring lots of golf balls; you won’t find too many that miss the fairway. Greens are the best part of this course.

When Gene Sarazen designed this golf it must have been before the advent of power carts because there are traffic jams with carts coming to and leaving greens and teeing areas. There is one spot where the cart path between houses emerges right into the middle of a fairway (somewhat dangerous). Pace of play was very slow (4 hours and 20 minutes) for a short par 70 course. The course standard is supposed to be less than four hours. The bunkers were very poor, mostly hard mud. In fairness it had rained two days prior but no attempt had been made to rake them. This is more of an executive par four course than a championship layout. Greens were slow and bumpy but the fairways and tees had decent grass. I paid $45 including power cart for a tee time after noon but I wouldn't pay the $90 rate they are trying to charge for prime tee times. I doubt whether I would ever play this track again.

Really nice staff and golf course. Enjoyed all holes except #10 which was very challenging.

Great value for the money. I bit of a drive from Gilbert and traffic can be slow on Baseline near I-10 in the late afternoon. Fairways and greens were excellent. Driving range and putting green were in good shape. Some waiting on Par 3's but generally a decent pace of play.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Aguila Golf Course.
bunkers not playable, fairways need a lot of love layout and greens good.way over priced
