Dark Horse needs some work...
I love the course layout, except there are too many traps off the tee. And the traps are in terrible shape, very little sand, mostly dirt and mud. Also, there are numerous places on the course where stretches of fairway have the grass trimmed so short that you must hit off of dirt.
I have to believe that the condition of the course is primarily due to this being late in a very dry season.

Great day at the "Hills"
I am a fair weekend golfer. The course was well groomed and moderately challenging. The fairways and greens were clean and uniform.
