Cary Country Club
Played On 07/27/2017Dishonest
Went there with a reservation and paid full price, but only nine holes were open because of flooding. They should have told us when we made the reservation that only nine holes were open. Then, I get an email promoting the course knowing that it was still only open for nine holes. I guess they were trying to get another sucker to make a tee time and be disappointed. I won't ever play there again!
Cary Country Club
Played On 07/27/2017Bad Experience
I have played this course several times and enjoyed it. However, this time we booked a round at full price and when we got there, we found out that only nine holes were open. There had been heavy rain and 9 holes were closed because of flooding. If we had been told when we booked the round, we would have found another course. When we complained to the staff, they just ignored us.
Pheasant Run Resort
Played On 06/27/2017Great Value
My regular foursome plays Pheasant Run frequently because we get some great prices on Golfnow. We have played there for as low as $16 for 18 holes with a cart and rarely pay more than $25. The greens are always in great shape and the course is not busy. Because it's a resort, there are lots of twosomes and singles so you have to let them play through which slows you down, but we usually play 18 holes in less than 4 hours.
Cary Country Club

Cary is long way from Addison so I don't play here too often, but I always enjoy playing this sporty course.
Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club
Played On 06/20/2017Always Fun!
I've played this course many times and always have fun. It has several risk/reward holes that are challenging. The greens are in great shape and the course is well managed.
Hilldale Golf Club
Played On 06/20/2017Enjoyable Course
We're seniors so we played from the silver tees which were perfect for us. We're good players, but don't hit the ball as far as we did in the good young days. The course has lots of holes where you have to hit over a creek to reach the green. The conditions were excellent and we especially liked the premium GPS system.
Wildcat Crossing Golf Club
Played On 04/07/2017Great value for SW Florida
We live in Naples during the winter and it costs at least $75 to play any course near us. We had a 45 min. drive to Majestic, but we could play there for about 40% less than in Naples. The course conditions were not as good as in Naples, but it was a nice layout and fun to play. The clubhouse was lively and the beer cold!
Cary Country Club
Played On 07/12/2016Hilly
Played this course last summer with friends. We usually walk so we did this rime. Big mistake because it was a very hot day. The course is close to the Fox river and very hilly so we were just hoping to survive the weather on the back nine. Afterwards, we headed straight to the bar and the friendly bartender helped us get re-hydrated!
Quail Run Golf Club
Played On 11/03/2014Friendly Course
They have made some improvements to the course and facility. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Needed to start on the back nine to pick-up my wife at our condo on the 16th hole and they were very helpful finding an opening. The course is short, but the par 3's are difficult.
Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/30/2014Too Tight
They just didn't allocate enough land for this course. It seemed like the designer had never played golf. The homes were too close to the course so you were a little uncomfortable hitting your driver from the tee. I suppose a senior who doesn't hit a drive more than 150 yards would feel OK, but otherwise you have to be too careful.
Bloomingdale Golf Club
Played On 07/29/2014Always in good shape
My regular foursome plays this course whenever we can get a deal. It's a little pricey for us seniors, but we always enjoy the course. Join the birthday club and you'll get a yearly discount. The course is usually in good shape and if you hit the fairways, you can score. It is an easy course to walk if you prefer walking like I do.
Country Club Estates
Played On 07/16/2014A Hidden Gem
This course has been in Fontana for over 70 years, but has never been in better shape. The greens are outstanding and every tee box has flowers to add to the beauty. Their twilight rate is $15 for 9 holes riding and you can play in about 90 minutes. Great course to get in 9 holes before dinner.
Oconomowoc Golf Club
Played On 06/24/2014Tricky Greens
This would be an enjoyable course, but the greens are all crowned with subtle breaks that only the members know. If a member invites you to play there, don't be surprised if a good putt rolls off the green. They are proud that the course was designed by Donald Ross, but it's a typical Ross design that punishes good shots.
Hibiscus Golf Club
Played On 11/5/2013Enjoyed the course -- lots of variety and well maintained.
Golfnow had a great special for this course.
I have played it before and always enjoyed the course. Greens could be in a little better shape, but it gets lots of play. For a Florida course, there isn't much water.
Restaurant is very good.
Randall Oaks Golf Club
Played On 9/4/2013This course is well maintained and the staff is super friendly.
We enjoyed everything about the course. The price was right and the pace of play was good. The ranger made an effort to keep us informed about what was going on when the course backed up a little. The food is good as are all of the facilities.
Eaglewood Resort & Spa
Played On 8/15/2013They had a 90 degree rule in effect for no reason.
Two greens were in poor shape, but overall the conditions were good. The weather was beautiful so the course was crowded.
Majestic Oaks at Lake Lawn Resort
Played On 7/22/2013First time playing there this year and was disappointed with the course condition.
Several greens had many bad spots and the traps had very little sand. It's a nice layout, but poorly maintained. Won't go back!
