Friends wife went into labor the night before the tee time so he didn’t show. When checked in and they didn’t say anything about being charged for the no show.. so I got a nice $97 dollar charge surprise . Hope it was worth me never making a tee time here again for my group.

I been playing at Shandin for over 15 years. Lots of new faces and players. So, the only problem is all the new players.. they park their golf carts basically on the greens and dont yell fore or anything when they hit a ball at your group lol… other then that the greens are in good shape, tee boxes need some love but other then that I like Shandin and will be back again. Thank you.

Greens are nice and you can’t beat $47 dollars for a good round of golf!

Greens are really nice, course is in really good shape. Only thing I would cry about is their being no range to warm up.. my back doesn’t get loose till like hole 8 lol.. other then that. I will definitely be back!.

4 hour round right on the dot. Course is in good shape, tee boxes need a trim but other then that the course is lit. Staff is very friendly.

Greens are rolling nice, the tee boxes on some holes are really uneven and the grass in long but not to bad.

Once the greens are rolled it will be all good. Course is fun and the staff is nice.

Course is in really good conditions... greens are beautiful, tee boxes are almost there as well. Will be back again!.

I been playing at Shandin for over 15 years. All they need is a better ground crew and a starter for the first tee box. A lot of new golfers come to Shandin, so don’t hit your ball on the other fairways. The cart person is very nice and the pro shop kids probably rather be somewhere else lol. Course is in great shape. And at $64 dollars on the weekend is a great deal. Other course in the area are around $89 to $100.... and it takes around 5 hours a round.. so, Yucaipa is your best bet for a fair priced round and a very nice course to play on. Me and my friends will definitely be back again. Thank you!

If you played on playing after 12pm good luck. To many people going out at the same time. I played at 12:50 and didn’t finish till 5:35... a lot of waiting but if they were more organized it would be a lot smoother. Greens are in great shape

Hour frost delay but it was worth the wait. Course is in great shape. Will be coming back if I can get a tee time somehow lol

All shandin is missing professionalism in the pro shop. The tee times are always out of wack and they need a starter to work the first tee box. That definitely hurts the pace of play and gives a bad taste is the players mouth. No one wants to play 5 hour plus rounds and the feeling of not knowing you’re next up on the tee box.

It started off with the kid is the pro shop not knowing anything ... tee time was at 9:52 but didn’t tee off till 10:30, “ pro” shop guy let a 5 some out in front of a 3 some which is super smart. Took 2 and a half hours to get to hole number 7. They decided to have a men’s club tournament and still book tee time during their tournament.. this place is ran like crap and the course conditions are very poor. Needless to say I won’t be golfing here for awhile. The cart lady is super nice tho but that’s about it. If you can’t find any tee times I would rather stay home then play here unless you have time for a 7 hour round.

2018 to 2021 the course was in rough shape. But it’s back to normal, greens and in the best shape I have ever seen!.

This was my first time playing in palm desert. I usually goto Scottsdale once a year to play golf but I found out that great courses were a lot closer to home then I thought. Palm desert offers everything Scottsdale does. I will be back again.

The greens and fairways are getting better every month. The greens were in great condition and the pace of play was good. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you.

The price rate is so over price it isn't even funny. Last year it was around $85-100 for a round and the staff was a lot better. Carts die almost every round now, plus be ready for a 6 hour round plus. The course condition has fallen off considerably but still they want $180 for a morning round on the weekend. I use to love this course but it's poorly ran and I hope they can get it back together soon.
