Heritage Hills Golf Club
Played On 06/25/2016Great course
We arrived and it was quite busy. We were told that we would be 20 mins late from scheduled tee off.
This was due in part to a lack of golf carts since golfers were taking carts without the starters permission.
We had no cart upon arrival but the foursome to tee off behind us had carts.
When the starter approached the gentleman in charge of carts, the young guy said he was multi tasked and could not help.
We finally got our carts. Empty beer cans included.
we were behind 2 foursomes- pace of play was slow- some guy- we realized on the 15 hole was the Mashall. He rode up parked and watched for a few secs and left. It was 5 hrs into play and we were waiting to tee up at the 15th. By this time we were very frustrated with the pace and congestion.
We went ahead and the 17-18 holes had no one on the course.
The Marshall could have arranged for a play through and return to finish with the other holes allowing a break in the grid lock.
Instead we went to the 18th and played, missing the 15,16,17 hole.
5 1/2 hrs with only 15 holes completed.
Otherwise the course was challenging and had a great layout as well as great maintenance.
Rolling Meadows Golf and Country Club
Played On 08/29/2015Did not play
Saw the reviews and great deal on golf now. Rate 16 dollars each with cart.
Unfortunately did not call in advance and a Minor hockey team/parents were teeing off prior to our tee off.
We were told by the staff member( not an overly friendly guy) we would likely catch them.
We decided not to play a potential 3-4 hr round that may result in a significant further delay.
Royal Niagara Golf Club - Escarpment Course
Played On 06/29/2015Fun to Play
The course is somewhat similar to Bear Creek in Barrie On with 27 holes, 3, 9 hole features.
We played Iron Gate and the Escarpment. The Ecarpment was very enjoyable.
Unfortunately it rained the day prior so we book a tee off at 412 to avoid a wet course, that did not pan out for us.
The course was wet and we were instructed to stay on the cart path for all holes, this made for a long day.
Otherwise pretty good value for the money, challenging but forgiving for the intermediate player.
CFB Borden Golf Club - Circled Pine
Played On 06/06/2015Great Value
Very enjoyable course, challenging with a variety of pars. Approx 4 1/2 hrs walking, with beautiful scenery and shaded areas for those hot days.
Excellent value for 19.99 walking.
The Wilds at Cedar Valley Golf Course
Played On 07/06/2014Great value for the cost
Great course for beginner, to above average player. Shorter yardage with narrow fairways. Longest hole just under 300. Generally requires all clubs with a variety of distance.
Fun to play and easily played in 2 1/2 hrs as well as walking.
Overall. Enjoyable.
