Played On 09/05/2020Challenging and fun course. Could use some TLC
This was my first time playing this course so hopefully I’m not judging it unfairly. The lack of a practice range and the only practice green being under repair isn’t great and the “practice box” will have you dodging your own ball if you want to warm up before teeing off.
The holes vary a lot in length with some par 4’s easily driveable like the 1st and some par 3’s pushing 240 from the whites and some par 5’s being reachable in two mixed in with some nice dog leg holes..
Not a lot of tree or water hazards which was nice. You can definitely swing hard off the tees and not have to worry about a tree blocked shot being 5-10 yards off the fairway.
The greens were a total disaster. Despite a couple days of rain prior, they look like they haven’t see a drop of water all summer. Huge cracks and bald spots all over. The tee boxes weren’t much better and the sand traps were like almost dry cement.
In a little better condition, this would be a great little course to play but definitely could use some TLC for the cost.
