Just like the other reviews the greens pretty much unplayable. Myself and 3 friends played golf at San Vicente Golf Resort yesterday and it was TERRIBLE. We have played there a few times before and the course was always in great shape, tee to green. But yesterday when we played the greens were in TERRIBLE shape, LOTS of bare sections, not spots but sections of the green, they are blaming it on a fungus. We will go back once they get their greens fixed, there are others places to play in San Diego until they get this problem fixed.

Played Mission Trails today and was very disappointed in the fairways. Not sure what is going on but almost every fairway was nothing but dry grass or just large patches of dirt. To make playing even more time consuming many of holes were cart path only, not sure way. The tee boxes where bare, hardly any grass. But I must say that the green were in were in good shape very few dry or brown patches.

First let give the Good, the greens were in great shape. The Bad is the almost half the holes are cart path only for some reason which really slows the pace of play. The Ugly is everything between from the tee box to the green. Fairways are a mixture of dirt, dead grass/weeds and very dry grass on 3/4 of the holes. I will not be going back any time soon.

Played Woodson yesterday and had a great time and the course is in great shape. The only complaint I have is the green side bunkers, no sand just hard dirt, felt like hitting off compacted dirty.

Played the Ivanhoe course yesterday which is a great layout but in bad shape. Tee boxes not mowed looked like teeing off from the rough, fairways thin and brown and the greens are a joke, very ROUGH with several types of grass patches. The newest attraction is a sand mining operation ON the golf course which you get to play over and around. I know they are hurting for money but what next, cutting down the trees and selling firewood?

Played golf at Sycuan yesterday on the Oak Glen course and wow was I disappointed!
I played there 2 months ago and it was beautiful, but now it browned out in lots of areas, very dry throughout the course and the grass is looking stressed but the greens were is great shape.
Sycuan golf course is watered by several wells located throughout the course.

Played golf at Cottonwood Ivanhoe course yesterday with friends. Fairways are ok, not great but ok, but the greens are in terrible condition, bare spots, different types of grass on each green and VERY bumpy. Tee boxes are combination of spotty grass and gravel, bunkers are dirt with gravel. The layout of Ivanhoe is good, but I will not be going back until they do something about the greens.

Played Chula Vista Thursday, we paid $16 to walk, which is normally a great price but after playing we did not get any bargain. Chula Vista is in rough shape, LOTS of bare spots, LOTS of ground under repair (but no repairs being done). Greens a in decent shape no complaints' there. I appears that the current management is only interested in rounds played and is not investing any money to improve the course.
Bottom line $16 to walk is a fair price but no bargain!
