Really enjoyed the course. Only downside was the very noisy group behind us who kept shouting even when people were teeing off.

Excellent challenging course. Pace of play was excellent finishing 3:45 hours. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. Would definitely play there again.

What a shame about the pace of play. The course needs a Marshall and should possibly ask for confirmation of handicaps. This was the longest round I have played at 5hours 50 minutes.

Played with a great couple. The round was fun. Shame about the state of the course. Obviously it is having major works and hopefully should be good in the New Year. Greens slow.

Excellent course, tee’d off on time and the first 6 holes the pace of play was excellent. Don’t know what happened after this but each hole had two four balls waiting. I wasn’t impressed when another four ball went by whilst we were playing only to find them on the tee when we went to the next hole. After a few words they conceded the right of play. A Marshall would have ensured that I would have rated the course 5 stars.

Excellent pace of play as we were the first tee following a high school competition. Therefore no one in front of us. 3:15 hours!!!

5 hour round. Carts not allowed anywhere on the course (which was unnecessary on most of the holes) which meant club selection erratic. Will not be going back.

Received 5* service. This is an excellent course and challenging in places. Many Thanks to Davis in the pro shop. He was like our very own tour guide. We were visiting Portland from the UK and he kindly put together a list of must do's for us whilst we were out on the course. I just hope when he comes to the UK next year for the Open that the service is reciprocated.

A Stunning and Challenging course. It was in great condition and a cart is definitely needed. I think this is probably my favourite course of all time.
