Lake Shawnee Golf Course
Played On 10/24/2015Fun course
I think the course is more challenging tha rated. The course was I great shape especially the greens as they Rolled smooth and fast. The wind at 13+ mph was a huge factor. If you have not played this course it is worth the time.
St. Andrew's Golf Club

The course was in great shape. Starting to die off for winter but still great. The greens rolled nice. A good challenge for the average golfer
Sycamore Ridge
Played On 10/10/2015Great course
The course overall is in great condition. The front nine was a little rough around the edges. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways were in excellent condition.
It was a good challenge as I think the back nine plays a little easier than the front. The white sand bunkers are in great shape and very easy to recover from. It looks like the money being invested in improvements is making a big difference. Can't wait to see what they will do next. This is a must play
Prairie Highlands Golf Course
Played On 10/07/2015Needs lots of work
I am a member of the course and I haven ever been more disappointed in the condition. Tee boxes, greens, and bunkers are still horrible. The area around the greens needs tons of work. Lots of bare ground.
The staff is full of excuses about the course condition. Way too many tournaments are played bringing down the condition of the course. Lots of other better choices in the area for the money. Maybe a new superintendent is needed.
Firekeeper Golf Course
Played On 09/25/2015Excellent course
The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. Challenging layout but also with opportunities to score well. If you live within 100 kids of this course you must play it
Heritage Park Golf Course
Played On 09/13/2015Worst greens
I usually play the course several times a year and it typically is well maintained. The green are terrible. Bad fungus in most of them. Putts hop and bounce all over. Turf green side is patchy and absolutely awful. Tee boxes are dying as well. The fairways have not been mowed in what appears to be 5-6 days. I would not play there again if it was free.
The greens have gotten much better since my last time there. It was mostly the front nine greens. They had too much water this year and the roots never took. Once they aeriate(probably this week) they will be back to normal.
They did change superintendents and the course is in worse shape than ever before.
How would a new superintendent stop the management from hosting too many tournaments? I think they need a new GM and possibly the owner should consider selling the course because of inept management.
