I was looking forward to playing this course based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, the course did not live up to the reviews. The conditions were poor. The greens were like putting on a shag carpet, the slowest I have ever encountered. The practice green was full of weeds. The tee boxes need work. The fairways were probably the best part of the course and they were in average condition. The layout is pretty funky. There were a couple of holes that my wife had to skip because she was unable to get from tee box to the fairway. Several target golf holes. It was not worth the money and was disappointing for my first trip to Hilton Head.

The course was very nice with some nice views but mostly winding through neighborhoods. The greens were recently aerated so there were some bumpy rolls. Overall, a good course but a brutally slow pace of play that had me just wanting to get the round over by the back nine.

I played with a couple of my sons and my daughter’s boyfriend and we had a really enjoyable day. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The course is in great shape and we played in under 4 hours. I highly recommend this course.

The course is in good shape except for some of the tee boxes. The layout is good and you can make it as challenging as you want with the many tee boxes. The only real issue is pace of play. We waited on almost every shot which affects your focus.

I always enjoy the course. It has many sets of tees to satisfy all golfer levels. I played 4 days ago and it was in great shape. Today, however, I was surprised to find the geeens all aerated without any warning from GolfNow. I love the course but I think golfnow dropped the ball this time.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area and I try to play it whenever I am looking to play and can find it on golf now. Great layout and conditions. Staff very friendly. Stayed after golf this time and had a great lunch at the bar.
