SilverHorn Golf Club of Texas

While most of the course conditions were good, they were not good enough to warrant this price point. Additionally, the guy in the pro shop, Ron, should probably find a career which doesn't require that he interact with people, just a complete tool, barking orders through the loud speaker from his perch inside the shop. Used to play this course quite a bit, but would have to question my decision if I did so again.

The course is in great shape with the exception of quite a few unrepaired ball marks. Pace of play was awful. Played 14 holes in 4 hours and bailed. A number of holes open in front of the bottleneck but the ranger did nothing. Disappointing.

Nice layout with solid greens. Numbers 7&9 were especially memorable. Michelle the pro and the folks in the bar/restaurant were fantastic. Definitely coming back.

Getting the chance to play a course of this quality for less than $100 was sensational. Great conditions and a challenging course from the tips.
