Really loved everything about the course from the spectacular canyon views to the overall challenge the layout offered. Greens are recovering from aeration yet rolling just fine. Only complaint would be about the 2 groups in front. It was obvious they were all friends because they continued to chit chat and hold our group up on a few holes, also finished 18 as an 8some. We all assumed it was just our bad luck to get stuck behind “the locals” which can happen at almost any golf course. All in all though the value and fun of this course is hard to beat in all of SoCal and the IE. Definitely looking forward to a winter round once California gets its much needed rain!

Came from out of town to visit family so I wanted to be guaranteed to have a good time and that is exactly what I got from Rio Secco. The clubhouse, starter, and practice facilities were all fantastic from the get go. The course was absolutely breathtaking with a challenging front 9 nestled within the Seven Hills community. Reminded me of the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. The back 9 is a lot more forgiving with less elevation and wider fairways. The wind did pick up quite a bit on a few holes. Overall the course is in pristine condition, do not be surprised to run into maintenance crews with hard hats throughout the round. I will definitely be back and have already recommended this course to several golf companions. Hope to be back soon.
