Farview Golf Club
Played On 7/5/2013Seeking own identity
A lackluster course in short. No driving range, poorly designed putting area and a course whose design is often non-sensical. Fairways are often either incredibly narrow for no reason or unable to be seen clearly due to poor mowing practices. The layout itself is amateur at best with greens placed in awkward places and bends being placed in odd, not thought out locations.
This course tries to be a links course for most of the holes but doesnt succeed, in the wooded areas it fairs slightly better but layout ruins it. Greens were super slow and long as well. Really not much reason to visit unless you are looking for frustration.

This is an interesting little track. The fairways and greens are well maintained but the energy and money have been spent here, not on paths or bunkers or accessory areas. Paths run from paved to dirt, aren't always obvious and the bunkers are all pretty rocky ( they even have a local rule that stones are movable in their bunkers). There are a few barren areas not technically in play that are without grass or greenery or mulch.
That said, it is a fun course to play as the fairways are well maintained and the greens are true (and slow the day I played). There are some very tight holes that require good shot selection and a few of the greens are multi-leveled. Only one hole with any real water and the fescue is thin and easy to play from. A great deal for the price and a very friendly staff to boot
This isn't a five star, pristine course to have a business round at. It is a fun grinding practice place perfect for a twosome rivalry or a solo round. Love it !
