Never ending Aerification

I've been to the driving range at Dubsdread a lot. There has always been something in the way of me playing here (weather, time, overcrowded, etc.). I had been putting off trying it since they recently aerified the greens. I waited 3 weeks and saw the alert was still up this last week so figured they would have to be close to recovered. Checked in at the shop and the attendant said they are 90% recovered but the course still only has 8 inch cups. Wasn't thrilled about the cups but figured if they were 90% recovered I would sink a bunch of puts and pad my score a bit. Turns out they are not 90% recovered. I'd say 50%. This could be due in part to the extreme heat in Florida right now. At any rate, I wasn't happy they over sold the recovery. If I'm paying 25 dollars a person to play, I want me and my partner to enjoy the round, not be surprised by course conditions. The carts are kick butt so this made up for a bit of the experience. I will be back but only after someone else writes a review that the conditions are back to normal.

Glad I am not your playing partner. REally you paid $25 for golf, that is the single cheapest rate I have ever heard of in Florida in 30 years. THey told you they were in recovery mode, how cheap are you? You probably pay $300/month for alcohol, but rate a course low because they have to aerate and the cheapest golf rate ever paid due to that.Heck the 9-hole walking courses cost that much at Orange County and walking course even more at Orange Lake. Do yourself a favor, go to Streamsong Tranquilo, Waldorf Astoria, or Black DIamond Ranch if you want immaculate conditions. Wait, you can't afford it.,

Thank you for the review and feedback. We apologize for the inaccurate information prior to your round. The greens normally take at least 2 weeks under ideal conditions. our goal is to provide an accurate description of the course so our guests can decide on their own if they would like to play. Obviously, we did not meet that goal. Due to the amount of rain, we will need another week or so before they are back to our normal conditions. We hope to see you back soon.
