Poorly kept

Very Poor turf conditions. The greens literally have weeds growing on them and they just roll them down. Definitely makes reasonable putting an adventure. Also if you're going to have fairways this ridiculously tight you have to maintain the rough it can't be just unkept parkland. If it were a $40 Muni around it would be acceptable.

How to ruin a great day of golf

How to ruin a great day of golf must be the name of the training manual they give employees. First I wasn't sent up to the tee ,I was told to wait even though my tee time had passed, when I finally was sent up the threesome and I was being paired with have been waiting up at the tee. The starter told me I had to get rid of my cart and get in a car with One of them I asked if he smoked he said yes I told the starter I'm sorry I have chemical sensitivities I cannot be in a car with a smoker and he told me if that was the case I would just have to simply wait. So smoke inhalation is mandatory at Royce Brook. The guy played with was nice enough not to smoke, but as I was teeing off, the starter said to him "blow it in his face. "After I had told him that I have very bad chemical sensitivities and get extremely sick from cigarette smoke. There was no water in the course coolers on the back 9 and the Cart girl said oh sorry, and I had to implore her to go get me some water , she begrudgingly did so on a 90° day. To top it off four drunks were in front of us teeing off from the tips and they couldn't even reach the fairway and the Ranger told us we had to hurry up even though we had been waiting 10 minutes on every shot all day long. No wonder they're selling teetimes cheap on deal caddy. Lastly the bunkers are concrete with no sand. Maybe they treat the members better. But I wouldn't recommend the drive there. PS I am not some newbie, I'm a 13 index.

I got a personal phone call from the PGA pro following up. He was very nice and quite sure my treatment was out of the norm. The kind of customer service really does help a lot. It shows they actually really care.
