I could see there were 2 groups of 5 out on the course, one immediately in front of our group (two-some). The group directly in front were pretty much duffers, playing from the wrong tees (blue) but even they were held up by the groups in front. Very frustrating to play at such a slow pace. Even the marshals were unable to improve the pace of play. I will give the course a miss for a while until I know they have reversed the policy allowing groups of 5.

Great course. Beautiful views. Only negative, excess water in many areas, creating mud. Many bunkers had pools of standing water. No need for that.

Fine course. Great weather. Excellent views. Course condition very good. Greens super fast so have to be careful.

I used to like the course many years ago. Now it is quite run-down. All 4 players in our group commented similarly. Gophers seem to have taken over (dirt mounds everywhere). Many of the greens are quite patchy with bare dirt. It also doesn’t help that there is major construction in the adjacent river bed. The course needs some loving care and attention.

Excellent course, great views. Pace of play very slow, due to the very grumpy and unfriendly starter allowing a 5-some on the course. Why slow everyone down?
