I hadn't played here in awhile, but saw a fairly open tee sheet and thought I'd give it another shot. The greens are in great shape and FAST. Fun putting. Pace of play was ok, would've been better if the two lefties in front of me weren't taking a LOOOOOONG time to line up every shot with no regard for those of us behind them. Still got around in under 4, so not bad. I'll be back.

I live in Northern Seminole Co. so I generally play there or in Volusia Co. Been a few years since I'd been to Hunter's Creek, but they had an open tee sheet on GolfNow...so I booked and made the drive. The pace of play was typical weekend hacker. Saw someone drive a cart ***between the apartment buildings and into the parking lot*** on 16 looking for their ball. Made me laugh out loud. I remembered a fun, challenging course with great greens. The greens here are shot. Our group played "2 putt max" if the ball landed on the green. There was no reading putts. You were better off figuring out how many times the ball would bounce or in which direction it would go. Great staff, but this once challenging and fun course is in decline.

The staff here is great. I was a single and got on right away. The starter was very helpful. I rate a course on 3 things...staff friendliness, greens, and pace of play. To a person, the staff is great. The greens are in wonderful shape and the course can be pretty challenging. The pace of play was slooooooow. We were a foursome behind a twosome who'd apparently just taken up the game. They had no knowledge of etiquette and we languished behind them for several holes. We wound up cutting ahead of them as they looked for a ball in the brush just off the short tees. Not sure they even noticed we passed them. This was a nearly 5 hour round of golf. I'll go back to BB because I know this was an abberational and I do enjoy the course. Just wish there was a ranger out there.

I frequently drive out to this course even though I live closer to Orlando. I'm anxious to get back, because I've not been there since the hurricane. This is one of my favorite tracks in Central Florida. It's very challenging, but fun and well maintained. I look for three things in a course. Pace of play, good greens and nice staff. This place generally has all three. I wish the beverage cart was around later in the afternoon...it gets hot out there. Love this place though, highly recommend it.

I always have a good time here. Great courses, great shape...courteous staff. Only flaw was pace of play. We were one of the first groups off and it still took us over 4 hours to play. The group ahead of lined up an awful lot of putts for triple bogey. Thankfully it was a beautiful day.

I teed off early afternoon. Played the first few holes fairly quickly...but wound up behind two foursomes and two fivesomes. The last foursome are apparently regulars on Sunday afternoon and quite honestly didn't seem to care that they were holding up the course. They took 15 minutes looking for a lost ball on 7. I wound up skipping holes 7-9 and going back to them when I was done with 18. The course was in decent shape, but the greens were rough. Suggestion...the 2nd hole could be a great par four without the silly dog leg at the beginning. I hit 5 iron off the tee and 3 wood to the green. That's backwards. Same for the 5th hole, the 2nd par five. Surrender the dream and make it a long 4.
This course can be challenging from the tips, but there are a couple of shots that make it almost circus like. This could be a great local community course with a little maintenance, effort and a course ranger keeping players moving.

The LPGA is just out of driving distance to be a regular part of my circuit, but I had the day free and made the drive. The Hills course is challenging, but fun. The greens are FAST. Great staff, friendly all around...great experience. I got a hot deal for the tee time, which saved me a lot of $. Good time...doing it again soon.

Fun course, nice staff...but sloooooow play. I get that this is a tourist course and there's gonna be bad golfers...but be bad quickly. Yikes. It took us 2:50 to play 9. Out of desperation I sent a "message" on the golf cart looking for a ranger at the 10th tee. All we got was a shrug and a "not much we can do". Took us nearly 5:00 to play 18. Unacceptable, especially after getting the "you'll go around in 4:30 or else" lecture on the 1st tee. I'd play here again...on a weekday. On the bright side...it is a nice track. Kinda challenging. Worth the time if you're in Touristville, Florida.

Props to the staff...they had a huge event that morning and handled it wonderfully. They set a gap between the event and the folks teeing off. It was perfect. We got around in about 4 hours even with 4 of the world's worst golfers teeing off ahead of us. They disappeared and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Great job to the staff. The course was WET...we've had a lot of rain lately...and most parts were damp. My only two beefs with a course are pace of play and bad greens. The greens were in rough shape, rain notwithstanding. I had a few putts that should've been makeable but was putting over sod inlay and other bad spots. Good tourist course. Not crazy challenging...but fun.

Been here 6 years and can't believe I'd not played here. The course was lots of fun and the staff was great. Course was in decent shape...greens needed to be mowed and teeboxes were a little sketchy in places...but Mystic Dunes is very easy on the eyes. I had a blast here and will be back very soon.

I played this course early on a Sunday morning. This is a great track. I look for two things in a course...pace of play and good greens. This course is beautiful in all areas, and we got around quickly. I was paired with a local who told us that one area of the course had the most mosquitos per square something or other in the COUNTRY. Lots of fun, lots of wildlife...a great day. Well worth it.

I thought I'd played every course in the area until I found this one. I live in Seminole county (Northeast Orlando area on GolfNow) and got tired of playing the local goat ranches. Made a 40 minute drive and it was worth it. Loved the elevation changes, course was challenging and the greens were in great shape. It's worth the few extra minutes drive. Great staff too.

I live in the area and played here several years ago when I first moved to Orlando. Didn't remember being blown away, or disappointed. Went back today...wow. If you want to watch drunks play golf poorly, this is your place. Everyone's tee time today was "Beer:30". The pace of play was abysmal. One foursome spent ahead of me at least 20 minutes looking for a ball along the left of the 8th fairway. I played half of 4, 5, and 6 before they gave up and moved on. Had one guy yell at me (beer in hand) because he said I played his ball. Got all up in my face...then I pointed to his ball about 10 yards away. No one seemed to care either. No ranger on the course. The course was in poor shape. Mud everywhere, overgrown tee boxes. Greens were like putting on shag carpet...unless they were mud patches.
There are infinitely better courses within 30 minutes of here. Find them. Never going here again. Ever.

Wow. We teed off around 930. There were 4 foursomes ahead of us. It took nearly 5 hours to play. The group in front of us were atrocious golfers yet lined up putts for triple bogey. There was one gentleman on the course a couple groups ahead with his ARM IN A SLING. We mentioned the horrible pace of play in the pro shop after 9 holes, and no one seemed to care. There wasn't a marshall on the course. Facilities were decent but the greens hadn't been mowed in months. It was like putting on shag carpet. Can't see myself here again on a weekend morning anytime soon.

We had a blast at King and Bear. It was a perfect day for golf. The course was in great shape, fun and challenging. Most of the staff was wonderful.
My only issue was with the course ranger, who kept harping on us to "close the gap" between us and the group in front of us. They were two holes ahead of us and the group behind us was two holes back pretty consistently. We were a foursome (three low handicappers) playing "ready golf". This guy just wouldn't let up. He approached us three times, the last being on 13th green. We just drove by him. BTW, we got around in 4:05. Other than him...it was an excellent day and I'll definitely be back there soon. It's a little overpriced, but worth the experience. All in all, loved it.

I really enjoyed the Deltona Club. It's a challenging course. There are several greens that are deceptively bunkered. The holes play longer than they seem. There are some birdie (and eagle) opportunities out there. Great experience, nice staff...fun afternoon.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had in 40+ years of golf. I played as a single and got right off. Great service, great staff, great course! It's way out of the way but worth it. Bring extra balls but you won't regret losing them. Only regret, greens were a little sandy but it's that time of year. Terrific track...I will be back ASAP!

I'm new to the area and was looking for some new tracks to play. Glad I picked this one. Great staff, fun course...a bit challenging but that's good by me. All in all a fun morning.

I thought I'd played every course in my area. Somehow I'd missed this one, but will be going back again soon. Fun course, a good test, in good shape. To a person the staff was wonderful. I'll be going back soon.

I really like this course. I went off as a single...and was doing well...for awhile. Ran into a backlog of one foursome that was ahead of some twosomes and me. I don't care if you're bad...just be bad quickly. They were plumb bobbing every single putt, even the ones for a 9 on a par 3. I called the clubhouse, as did the twosome behind me...and nothing. There was even a ranger out there...who drive right by them after the group in front of me spoke to him. We all could've been done in 3 to 3.5 hours. There's no excuse for not urging folks to play faster or pick up. I like this course and will go back there...but they need to pay closer attention to slow play.
