St. Peters Golf Club
Played On 08/16/2019Nice public course that is improving
Used to play this course a lot when it was a 9-hole course. Now that it is 18, it is a little more narrow and some of the previous holes have been eliminated. For those who used to play it, the old 1,8, & 9 are now 1, 17, and 18. Everything else is different. Course is a little difficult to figure out first time you play because fairways are built around mature trees so sometimes interest with others. Pace of play could be quicker but some blind shots require time spent looking for balls that may / may not be in thick Bermuda grass that can't be seen until you step on them. Course is not overly long; greens are in pretty good shape although a bit slow. Tee boxes need some attention but that will occur in time. Clubhouse / pro shop have just undergone a MAJOR renovation as has the course drainage system. If weather cooperates, this course will only get better and better.
