Played Legends on 17/5. Good layout.
Had been recommended to me for great greens but they had been sanded and very difficult to put on.
The part we didn’t like was the fact was the minute you were off the fairway you were hitting from weeds not grass. Made it very difficult to play from.

Played Balfron on 31/5/17 after a recommendation and really enjoyed it.
A friendly welcome on arrival and we were advised we would be better going off in front of the medal was great advice.
The layout of the course was excellent and playable for all levels. Some short par 4s and longer ones as well as great range of par 3s. Views were fantastic and the condition of the course was excellent with a full team of green keepers working on it.
Only slight complaint was the pace of the greens. Very slow but smooth.
Without rushing round we took 3 hours 15 mins which on a warm day was acceptable rather than the 4 or 5 hours you can get some places.
Will be back again for sure.

Myself and 2 friends played this course this morning and found it the least enjoyable of all the courses we have played in the area.

We were first out at 7 am and the course was very wet and there was a 90 degree cart rule.

Our main issue was the first cut of rough was very thick even a few yards off the green and chipping was a nightmare. If you missed the fairway even a few feet then it was impossible to hit the green. There had also been grass cutting done the previous day and there was lumps of soaking grass lying over the course.

We played of the shorter of the 3 tee choices and still found it very difficult for all medium handicap golfers.

The layout was boring and uninspiring and one hole seemed to merge into another with none sticking in your mind as a fabulous golf hole.

Very disappointed and can't see me playing there again.

We played this course at Orange County National and found it be be in great condition and fun to play. We teed off at 654 am and were finished by 1015. The greens were fantastic and very fast... Just what we wanted.

Great value for money and will be back for sure.

I have played this course on many occasions and always loved it but played it for the first time in 4 years yesterday. We all loved it but on big miss for us was the fact that the GPS has been removed from the cart for some reason. Takes a bit of the pleasure from playing celebration away.
