The practice areas were ok certainly enough areas for a decent pre round warm up.
The course looked like it could be very nice but certain areas just let it down.
The greens looked like they were good but were the slowest I have played in FL this year, they did roll ok just so slow.
One 2 ball holding the whole course up? Radio blasting out sharing a bag of club? One of them kept trying to dance in the middle of the fairway even with no one in front of them but 4 groups (3&4 balls) waiting on the tee behind.
There was no course marshal around to speak to them? This made what could/should have been a sub 3 hour round in to a 4.5 hour round.
The pro shop was ok the highlight of the staff was the lady starter very nice and helpful and the cart girl working very hard to service 27 holes on her own.
Would like to play here when not so busy and the greens have been cut/ironed/rolled.

We arrived early g do or a good warm up. Staff were very helpful and even offered for us to go out earlier if we wished. The practice areas were good well they gave you what was required to warm up properly. The tee boxes show minor signs of wear d as d tear but still good. The fairway played lovely and the Bermuda grass around the greens and off the fairways looked nice but difficult as it always is. The green putted true although a little slower than I like.
There was no beverage cart but the course was not busy so it might of came out later (teed off at 08:03). We got held up slightly on the last two holes but still got round in 3 hours.
We ate in the Belfry bar/restaurant and the young lady that served us was very polite and chatty (sorry did not get her name). The food was lovely as it has been in the past.
A definite little gem to play and frequent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have played here in previous years and enjoyed the course. Unfortunately the course has either been over played or let deteriorate from my last round.
Tees very worn, greens very bumpy fairways ok (wet but that’s due to a lot of rain) bunkers dreadful.
Along with what can only be described as hackers holding up the whole course made a painful round. No marshal to try and gee this group up? On one par 4 we had 4 groups waiting to tee off behind them? Counting at least 15 shots that one player played? Surely they must of felt uncomfortable with so many people behind waiting.
This is all a great shame as the layout of the course is great but certainly not worth the green fee at the moment.

Played this course twice last year and was so looking forward to playing it this year.
Unfortunately the course has deteriorated? Weeds in the greens, tee boxes nowhere near as nice as 12 months ago and the bunkers needed a good rake over. The fairways were nice as were the approaches to the greens.
We got a great deal on Golf now so we can’t complain too much. I was not looking for a deal I was looking more for the course we played last year. The staff (starter, Pro Shop catering) were all very friendly and welcoming. I will try this course again next year in hope the get the course back to a good state of repair. Please don’t let this little gem slip to the way side.

The starter (Sal) and the professional shop (sorry can’t rennet his name) were very helpful and accommodating. The on course marshal was friendly but would have been better if he tried to get the group holding us all up to either speed up or let us play through.
The course was well set out not a course to just keep pulling the driver out ? Plotting your way round the course was definitely the way to play the course.
The greens run true and a good roll the storms the night before effected the fairways, tees but most of all the bunkers.
This did affect the play a bit but nothing to worry about and I will certainly return here.

We arrived far too earlier but this was not a problem. The starter and professional shop staff were more than happy to help. After a good warm up we were invited to tee off earlier if we wanted. After 5 holes a resident joined us, a really friendly guy (called Don) who was happy to give us some helpful lines to aim at.
The only let down was a group that held not only our group but the two groups ahead of us. This should of been a maximum 3 hour round but turned it to a 4 hour round. But not a big issue.
After our round we spent time in the club house, eating and drinking the food was good and the staff again were super friendly.
The course was very good with just a minor issue of the greens running a little too slow for my liking? They run true but I felt I needed to force the putts slightly. These was the only reason I could not give 5 stars? Hope to play it again and thanks for hosting us.

The starter welcomed us nicely and then went down hill. Trying to get a beverage from the bar took ages. Started only to find it was cart path only? I would understand but the fairways (apart from 1 hole) were dry as a bone so no reason. One hole was closed for maintenance this was not mentioned to us and we come up to the tee just to find the markers had been removed so we asked the maintenance guy who was very polite and apologetic. The pace of play was terrible, the greens were poor fairways were nice and in good condition. Tees were ok and this is about it. The bar afterwards was great food and a lovely friendly waitress/server not the same one as the morning. So with all this I would not recommend the golf but certainly the food was great. It is one of those courses that looks like it will offer you so much but lets you down far too often.

Arrived at the course and warmly greeted at the pro shop, the starter was ok but did not make us feel as welcome as the pro shop. The driving range was ok but nothing special, putting green was good and very similar pace to the greens on the course. The tee boxes and fairways were good the greens were very good.
Pace of play was a little slow but did not stop us enjoying the course. Nice half way house to stop for food and beverages. After a very enjoyable round we stayed for a sandwich and drink? The staff were good but the good was excellent. We certainly will return here in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately hurricane Ian had left it toll and the course still had 9 holes closed. We were not informed by golf now that this was the case when booking. The front 9 was played twice and had some nice holes. The second was a good golf hole in particular. The greens were true and rolled well, tee boxes and fairways were ok bThe range was set up for members nicely but guest were just shoved to the right hand side like second class citizens. The guy in the pro shop was very friendly but trying to get served was a nightmare? Every-time the phone rang he stopped dealing with the the people in the shop to answer the phone. No beverage cart going around but more importantly no course marshal to keep the pace of play going. The starter was trying to put a single with us (a 3 ball) rather than add him to another single in front of us sorry but I had to do his job for him and tell him it would make far more sense to add them together. There was no bar or catering facilities open after our round (we finished about 15:15)
It’s a real shame that minor details like this stick in our minds more than the course itself. I will be back to play it to see what the back 9 is like.

We played this course on a very quiet day. The greens were a nice true roll although a little slow for my liking. Due to the rain the night before some wet areas but not a big problem. We completed our round in under 3 hours so a good pace of play. I don’t know what is going on in Florida but nowhere seems to have gps on the carts any more !! I wish I had brought my Bushnel with me as working yardage’s out wasted time pacing it out from the fairway markers !!
I would play here again a fun course that was not overly difficult but still a test.

On arrival the pro shop was quite friendly and helpful. The starter was very good explains all the current course work going on. The practice area was good condition and the course was ok as work on the course was being performed. The course layout is good but plotting your way around for the first time is near impossible on a number of holes.
We started and it was a very slow pace taking 70 minutes to do 3 holes. On approaching the forth tee there were already four groups on this hole and after 25 minutes another 2 groups started to wait on the tee with us. We made a decision to abandon the hole and try and skip in front of the slow groups !! This was impossible as we kept finding more groups on holes ahead !! We got back to the club house and spoke to the pro and decided to go out a couple of hours later after lunch and a few drinks. We left the club house after 2 hours just to pass one of the groups holding play up earlier. We the starters and completed our round in 3 hours 10 minutes.
The pace of play earlier was ridiculous and with s good course Marshall could be avoided !! I would not like to play a round of golf in over 6 hours and that is what would of been facing.
A nice course but I would not recommend or go back due to pace of play !!

Greeted by a very helpful and friendly starter. The driving range was a little out of play due to the weather so hitting off the back of the range towards the normal teeing area.
The course was under going some green keeping work but this did not effect our game.
The greens were a little slow but still rolled true.
The only pit falls were working distances out !! There were 100,150 and 200 yard markers in the fairway but they are not easily seen from the cart so a bit of hunting to find them (maybe paint around them to highlight them better) distances from the tees to bunkers, trees, water etc was pure guess work (I wish I had my Bushnel with me !!)
Not a wide range of food to select but the Turkey sandwich was very nice.
Would we play here again yes as I now have a little more idea on the lay out and yardage’s :-)
