Played School/Village yesterday. Course in very good shape given last weeks snow and our recent cold temps. Ace of play was great finishing in 3:45.

Played On 10/05/2018Great Track - Great Value
All 3 nines have been in great shape this year - kudos to the Staff - especially given the amount of play the course receives. Chicopee has great variety with each of the 3 nines having a bit of a different personality. We played Village & Mill today. The starter warned us it would be slow with the tee sheet full all day. We waited off and on but not terrible. Played in about 4:30 - we usually play that combo in 4 hours or less. Greens are in excellent condition, bunkers good - a great value in the Gainesville area.

The Chimneys Golf Course

The Chimney’s is a fun course and a can’t beat value. Played on Sunday 6/3 after much, much rain over past week and the course was generally in good shape. Some of the bunkers had been impacted by the rain, the greens were slow and it was cart path only but none of that surprised us and we could have paid twice the freight elsewhere and had the same conditions.

Our twosome played on a Wednesday afternoon. First time there and were running late. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We played in about 3:15 and loved the course. Agree with other comments on importance of local knowledge and a range finder;. 11, 12 and 17 come to mind. I've played most of the 'semi-private' courses on the north side of Atl and this one is now in my top 3. Anxious to get back as everything greens up.

Achasta Golf Club

Enjoyed another round at Achasta yesterday afternoon. They'd had a big storm the previous day so fairways were soaked and it was understandably cart path only. Conditions were otherwise very good as usual and staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there. We were a twosome and played In 3:30. I find the course to have a great mix of holes and now that I've played it a few times better understand how to play the somewhat quirky ones (4, 9, 15). Hope to get back again while the leaves are turning!
