Fox Hills Golf Center - Golden Fox Course
Played On 07/23/2016Fox Hills Golden Fox
First time playing the course. The course was challenging and in good condition. Need to keep it in the fairways or you will find plenty of trouble. The bunkers were in nice condition and the greens were decent and quick. I played in the afternoon and the rate was good for a course of this quality. The GPS system in the cart is very nice.
The cons: Several blind shot holes and out of bounds areas that punish golfers with returns to the tee box instead of lateral hazard drop areas. First time players need to be aware of these areas. The concessions were slow, don't have coolers for your refreshments (shopping bags that leak), and a little pricey.
Overall it's a recommended place to play. If I play the course again I'll be more prepared for those trouble areas.
Eagle/Osprey at Okeeheelee Golf Course

Not a bad course for the rate. Plenty of water hazards to get you in trouble. Course was in fair condition.
Black Bear Golf Club
Played On 03/24/2014Golf and lunch
I was vacationing in the Orlando area and a friend suggested this might be a decent place to play. I took advantage of the golf and lunch package offered by the course. The course was in horrible condition. The fairways were aerated and patchy and the greens were sandy. The layout was ok but the course needs a lot of work. The bunkers were in horrible condition and some were completely unplayable. Nowhere was this posted on Golf Now warning of these conditions. The lunch had a limited menu, the food was bad and the lunch did not include a drink. Not recommended unless they make some significant improvements.
Darby Creek Golf Course
Played On 10/22/2012Always Fun to Play
I have played Darby Creek on numerous occasions. The course is always maintained in very good condition, the course is very challenging and the greens are very fast. Today was no different. The greens were aerated but still fast and rolled pretty well considering the holes. Love this course and recommend it to all.
Red Hawk Run Golf Course
Played On 9/30/2012Nice Layout Needs Help
Red Hawk Run is a challenging golf course that needs some tender loving care. Has over 7,000 yards at the tips and trouble in every place you can imagine. The layout of the course is fabulous and the wind always seems to be blowing in your face. The greens are in decent shape but the fairways and tee boxes needs a lot of work. This could be a real gem if the conditions were to improve.
