My buddy and I play with friends from a different area so always looking for courses in the middle. Found this course and said let’s give it a try. Didn’t know what to expect because the price was so good for a Friday. What a surprise the course was in great shape all around tee boxes, fairways and greens. The layout is friendly a few doglegs but most of the course you can see the green. The rough is a little deep but you can hit it out. We have played this course three weeks in a row and have a fun time each week. The staff is friendly and their is a 200 yard driving range plus putting green and a separate chipping area with a sand bunker.

It’s March and the course is very good condition, greens roll great. You can tell the people running the course are sinking money into it all around you see improvements every bunker has new sand tree are cut up so it’s easier to find a ball. All of the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. I was a single and paired up with two guys and they were a lot of fun to play the round with. Already booked my next round for me and a buddy.

Didn’t know what to expect being that the price was so low. Showed up 20 minutes early and starter told me go check in and I could go right out paired me with another single. The person I played with knew the course and that helped. The course was in good shape for a course that gets a lot of play, the tee boxes can use some seeding fairways were very good and the rough fair but tough. A couple of the greens need work but the areas are in one spot of the green and not over the whole green. The staff couldn’t have been nicer plus the person on the beverage cart was there at least a dozen times and you needed that because it was hot. Told my buddy what a nice surprise and that he and I will play this course together.

Played on a Wednesday and the sun was out thought the day would be great. Course was in very good shape tee boxes and fairs very good greens a little slow, but rolled ok the rough just long enough to give you some trouble but that’s golf. The big problem was the pace of play 51/2 hours to play the round on a Wednesday the foursome in front of us just keep saying it’s not us it’s the group in front of us. This course is known for having rangers that keep play moving but not today. Finally on the fourteenth hole a ranger came by and we asked him try help move it along. Came back after a while and told us he watched the group and could see the issue asked them to move it a little quickly it help some. I will be back to play this course. Course is fun to play and the folks that work there a very friendly.

Caught a real nice day for February, course was in good good shape and there are working hard to get it ready for the season, looking forward to play when the work is done.

Lots of rain the two days before we played and some in the morning. So it was cart path only, but because of the weather not many people playing and that made pace of play great. Finished the round in three hours wish every round played like that. This course is always fun to play and even being wet it was still a fun course.

For the time of year this course is in very good shape. Pace of play was great finished in three hours, had some rain and a couple of holes were wet but they put markers out to let you know the areas to stay away from. The only down side for the day was the greens were sanded so putting was no fun. This is a NJ county course and the staff do a great job keeping the course in great shape for the amount of play it gets

It was nice to see the new owners working to bring back the course. Greens,fairways and tee boxes all in great shape but traps need sand. Bag drop guy couldn’t been nicer. My buddy and I will be coming back we had a great time and the course layout is a lot of fun to play.

Played this course a couple of years ago and found it to be very unfriendly. Rough very high shore grass everywhere even on good shots you could lose a ball played today the difference in the course was great shore grass cu5 back, rough trimmed and the fairways in beautiful shape will be playing again very soon.

Showed up at the course early and the starter couldn’t have been nicer. I had to wait for my playing buddy he was running a little late but the starter said he could work with us, played this course last year and it was in so so shape, what a surprise the course was fairways and greens in great condition, tee boxes need some grass, for the price it was a great value, will play again,

the course is in great condition for this time of year. tee boxes, fairways and green in great shape. leaves are not a big issue and are not on the greens. would play this course on the next nice day.

played this course last month and the fairways were bald in many areas, came back and this time they were in much better condition. course is fun to play and the staff is very nice. I don't hit a very long ball but the layout gives me the change to get on in two. The greens were rolling fast and you can read the breaks, so you can drop a putt if you read them right. Par three's were fun to hit.

It was raing for the first three holes and on and off for the next four. Will play again on a nice day the course was in very nice condition. Greens were fast and true. Some blind second shots but if you go for it a good reward at the end. Par three's fun to hit over water. Surprised at check in seniors get a break on the price.

Not a real long course but tricky. Helped that I played with a local. Staff very friendly, I'm going to play it again had fun the first time.

THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND I GOT THERE EARLY AND WAS ABLE TO GET OUT RIGHT AWAY. FAIRWAYS ARE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS BEEN DRY AROUND HERE LATELY BUT THE GREENS ROLLED GREAT.I HATE IT WHEN YOU HAVE WORK AT PUTTING YOUR TEE IN THE GROUND BUT HAD NO PROBLEM HERE. FOR A COUNTY COURSE IT WAS VERY PLEASANT AND I WOULD PLAY IT AGAIN.
