Ok course. Reasonable prices for the greater Naples area.

Quit after 10 holes because the ranger harassed us several times for allegedly slow play. We finished the front in about 2:10 which included 15-20 minutes of waiting on 5 of the 9 tee boxes. We were never more than a shot off the pace and even then it might have been once or twice for the entire front 9. In my opinion he singled our group out because there were 3 women in it.

When we got to the 10th tee the threesome that had been in front of us was now a single and we still had to wait a few minutes for him to get out of range. When we finished number 10 he was on the green on 11 and the ranger came over again and told us we were behind. At that point my wife and I decided we’d had enough.

I told the director of golf about it and got a shrug of the shoulders and the comment that’s golf at a public course in Florida. My wife and I have played there 4 or 5 times in the past month, and she even took a lesson there, but we won’t go back. The tee times are 7 minutes apart; there are too many golfers on the course; most of them are high handicappers ; and, they expect play in 4 hours. I’m all for rangers. In fact I don’t think most rangers do enough to move play along. But when it’s a traffic jam on every hole you can’t single out one group, unless it’s front group, which we weren’t, for slow play.

Slow pace with many high handicappers. Course is wide open. A young course that will get better with age. The greens are hard but hold fairly well. Sand traps need a lot of work.

Played it last week as well. Both times it was slow-4-1/2 hours plus. Some great holes; some meh holes.

Ok course but needs some attention. Fairways are sparse and greens had just been aerated as well as being rough and bumpy without the aeration.

Loved the layout. Staff was great and very helpful from bag drop to cleaning our clubs and picking up our carts and returning them for us. Only two minor negatives: lack of signage in some areas for cart paths and between holes (tough for first time at the course); and, not one ranger on the course to keep play moving. The course was full so slower groups affected everyone.

It’s obvious they have put/are putting a lot of effort into improving the course. The conditions were good despite the fact that many of the improvements are still taking hold, like new sod and work around the greens. Neither impacted the overall golf experience. The staff was great.
