Course is always nice to play. A little wet obviously with the rain but not bad. Cart path only due to the rain which was the only bad thing as the round was long.

I’ve played the course several times. Always in great shape. Staff is great. New carts. Bottled water on several holes if needed. Great layout. Pace of play was just over 4 hours. Considering having to play out of several bunkers we made good time. Lots of bunkers make it a good challenge and they actually have sand in them unlike a lot of other courses. Would definitely recommend the course.

This course has a nice layout and with some work it could be really nice. Starter maybe hadn't had his coffee yet so wasn't very friendly and loaded my own bag. Full mature trees on the course offer some challenge for sure. The greens roll pretty good but are quite hard so no luck holding the green on approach shots and some are patchy. Fairways are good but there are some issues with the irrigation so lots of wet spots on the course. Played as a twosome in the morning in 3 hours so pace was great. Booked as a hot deal for $20 so was worth that price but not much more.

I have played The Duke for years as I live in Maricopa. It's in good condition right now. Greens are rolling good and the fairways are in good shape. They could be in better shape if golfers would repair their divots with the bottles provided and fix their ball marks on the greens. Fairways are wide and forgiving with a nice layout and some challenging holes. The bunkers need work as they have not much sand in them and the carts could be updated. Pace was super fast as I was one of the first out by myself and played in 2 1/2 hours. But generally with a foursome it's 4 hours. Staff is always good.
