If going to enforce early closure should not be billing for 18 when course can not be completed in a reasonable time ! Ripping people off if you don’t allow them to at least play till they decide to quit due to darkness ! Course was in good shape , like the layout and cart girl did a great job of getting around for guests ! If your going to play don’t book 18 after 2pm or you will be disappointed with enforcement of early forced quit !

Overseed took fairly well, greens in decent shape , pace of play was excellent !

Fun little gem , beautiful views & challenging layout ! Signage , cart paths and yardages to get around are all screwed up but make it more like a treasure hunt lol great little clubhouse and bar area , good food , drink selection , and and friendly staff ! Needs a little TLC $$$ and could be great , greens are in great condition !

Had 12:54 tee off & 105 temp , told by cart girl after first time around , wouldn’t be back for the day , stop by clubhouse if ya want anything ? Only half of water stations had any water the whole day , made turn @ approx 3pm , grill / kitchen closed for the day , only bar open ! Needless to say not putting customer experience @ top of the list :/

Pace of play was faster than normal , around 4hrs , that was a plus ! Rangers did a good job of helping pace & pleasant to talk to ! Greens were really beat up , transitional turf in fairways & tee boxes about what you would expect wt time of year , on course construction. A few places not a big deal ! Happy wt what I paid for the experience .

Like this course , sand traps were in great shape , fairways & greens were good & pace of play was great !

This course is short and pretty tight, but great for your short game & if you want to get in a round under 4 hrs ! Greens & fairways were great shape , scenic views are always nice & cart girl was making the rounds frequently !

Have visited Shalimar many times over the years , has the potential for nice , fun layout , but is in complete disarray now, needs new ownership & TLC! Nothing on grounds is being taken care of fairways , greens , water , sand traps trees , tee boxes , big fat zero on maintenance & landscape ! It’s sad & too bad ownership didn’t care to run it better : l( Having to leave your drivers license for cart rental is ridiculous response to theft problem

Really starting to love this course , in spite of the contradictory confusion surrounding mobile check in provided by GN but not honored @ course or how to use properly on app , the starter was not grumpy & not thrilled just showing up to play without checking in @ clubhouse , still had to confirm if okay to let go out ? Busy day from start to finish being holiday an all, pace of play wasn’t bad considering , other than the beep , beep non golf etiquette clowns behind us who multiple times hit into us ‘ & wanted to fight over it thinking they were pace of play police with no place for anyone to go ! Ranger giving out otter pops , was nice touch and he handled it well , as well as was impressed with food /cart service offered and how fast & easy it was to use wss you got a hold of them ! Greens & fairways were in good condition , quite a bit of standing water in various places due to monsoon season but all in all good time !

Overall well run course with great amenities !Employees were professional and looking to make golf experience good for all guests ! Golf ranger was a young man who did a good job of helping pace of play but also made a point of thanking people who were attempting to help facility pace of play ! Food and beverage in clubhouse was good and servers were very attentive to needs of customers ! Course still has quite a few bare spots but greens and fairways are in condition minus occasional weed issues ! Wish landscape grass mowing could have been completed earlier in morning , so rough wouldn’t have been so difficult to find balls and had to dodge workers but could have been avoided if hit more fairways lol

From Starter , to pro shop , to Cart cleanup , very unprofessional ! Closed bar & grill, no beverage cart service , no ranger to monitor pace of play , This course could care less about golfers experience ! No way to get any form of refreshments after 5:00pm ! Even pro shop closes early ! Funny thing is the expect and are adamant about getting a tip @ the end of this self serve experience ! Management needs to learn how to run a course , otherwise go somewhere else where they care !

Last two times I’ve played this course the starter on duty has forgot that part of their job is to make golfers feel welcome and be nice . So busy pushing their agenda and consumed with responsibilities , lacking people skills and customer relations knowledge ! Course was in good shape , food and beverage was excellent, clubhouse attendants we’re professional & nice , great overall experience !

Golf carts are not even kept out available & cleaned :/ Much of fairways are bare dirt poorly maintained in every way , greens are a mess , they don’t bother to keep range balls off the course and people that live in neighborhood are walking wherever oblivious to golf etiquette or potential safety risk . Zero money spent to maintain or improve course in anyway fir a long time , it’s too bad if someone cared could be a fun short course gem if invested in

Tried to check in using mobile app, to utilize features ,unable to do so. Inquired wt pro shop and was basically told it’s not in use? Pro shop employees were nice , new driving range features looked amazing ! Unfortunately while proceeding to first tee was angrily met by a grumpy starter barking my last name @me telling me the people I was paired wt were already on the box insinuating he was upset I was not already over there . I told him I was waiting for my wife who was getting a beverage and would be right there. When I arrived @ box 3 other gentlemen were still waiting to tee off due to a 5 some sent off in front of us ! Made introduction to my round unejoyable due to a starters bad attitude and not doing his job professionally ! Rest of round group in front remained a hole and half behind even though two different rangers supposedly spoke with them . Round took 4.5 hrs , would have easily been under 4 if 5 some had not been permitted . Noticed the course had another group doing the same thing behind us , apparently okay( if your a regular )S food and beverage was good other than forgetting half the order @ the turn and having to bring it out later :( Course was in decent shape but strongly believe you should not be sending groups of 5 or more out period unless the course is wide open which was not and was in prime time . Felt like concern for publics enjoyable experience was far less important than letting regulars do what they want , not a good way to build a business model

Had a outstanding , relaxing twi light visit ! Everyone working was warm, helpful , and made experience terrific! The course itself is awesome , greens had a few rough spots , and some of the ravens were difficult to deal with both by design and upkeep but design is beautiful! Highly recommend and would play again . Side note the Sedona Golf app is cool but cart girls need to be trained on how to use or it needs to be updated to be able to use on course !

Other then always an uncomfortable wait and dealings wt cluster @ first tee box and the starter , had a fun round , greens are in really poor , hard shape but overall course in decent shape. Pace of play was actually fastest I’ve ever played there but is still close to 5 hrs . Thus the good with the bad

Winter grass didn’t take real great but course is in fair condition . Course always plays slow and really bogs down on the back nine . Fun course to play but not if your trying to play a quick round

Course was in good shape ! Pace of play started great but slowed to snail pace after 7th hole :( No ranger or cart girl but we’ll spaced out restroom facilities
