Although the greens had been aerated fairly recently, the course was in great condition.

Range and course were extremely wet. Staff made no effort to make pairings. No starter. Not overly impressive.

Nice course, especially if you're a bit rusty, as the fairways are generous and the greens are large.

Course was ok, but a cut below several others in the HH area. Greens were quick, but not as true as desired. Overall, acceptable if you haven't been playing much, but disappointing if your game is sharp.

Bear Creek has the fastest and best conditioned greens I've played in my 8 years in the Hilton Head area. I only wish my game was in as good a shape as the course. Staff is one of few that actually introduces you to the people with whom you are paired. Overall, the best bargain around.

One of the best conditioned courses around. Haven't played it in the summer, but thr greens are very nice in the winter.

Fairways & rough were ok. Greens & fringes average. Staff could make an effort to let singles know with whom they're supposed to play.

Course was extremely wet, and CPO, making it a difficult walk, but otherwise in good shape. Greens write in good shape.
