PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course
Played On 11/24/2019Great Day at La Quinta
2nd time playing La Quinta - Mountain course. Played it two years ago in May. Course was in good shape and as always, was a fun and challenging afternoon.

Played On 05/22/2016Beautiful Day at Eagle Vines
Had a great round at Eagle Vines. Got out just ahead of an afternoon tournament. Paired with another single and we had a blast. Course in pretty good shape. Nice to see sand traps with sand and not hard as cement. We could have used a 'cart girl', but made good use of the 1/2 way house on the turn. If you're in Napa and the price is right, give EV a shot!
Hiddenbrooke Golf Club
Played On 05/02/2015Very slow and poor tee boxes
Took 5hrs 20min to play on a "not very busy" day according to starter. We're told it would back up a little on the back and we were stacked up by 3rd tee. Never saw a Marshall all day.
Course is hosting Div II championship Mon-Wed and tee boxes were awful. Several were practically all dirt. Many were sloped or had a "bubble" in the middle making your tee shot quite the adventure.
Chardonnay Golf Club
Played On 02/04/2015Good value
Picked up a good deal on golfnow. Course was in decent shape but showed signs of lack of rain. Worst part was pace of play. After 4hrs 15 min I left with just 15 holes played. Several times there were 3 groups on tee box waiting to hit. I'd expect a log jam on a Saturday, not a Wednesday in February. Would play again for sure but hopefully pace is better.
Quarry Pines Golf Club
Played On 04/10/2013Really nice course for the price!
Great course if you're in Tucson and not looking to throw down three bills at one of the high end resort courses. Front 9 fairly straight forward and enjoyable to play. The Back 9 is where this course shines. You wind your way throughout the Quarry with some great elevated tee shots followed by beautiful views of surrounding mountains. Many of the fairways are risk/reward as they aren't super wide in the landing area. Overall a very nice course and I would definitely play again if I was in Tucson.
